Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyThe price for one night is not particularly low. Unfortunately, the train station area in Frankfurt is not the nicest place and the hotel is very close to it. The minibar is empty and quite old (not very clean).
The hotel is strategically located near the train station and the Euro Tower. The room is clean and cozy, albeit quite small. The bathroom is great. The free wifi works properly. Everything you would expect from an average city hotel is present.

United KingdomNothing I didn't like, just be aware that if you are a female traveller alone, and you don't know the area and arrive late at night, you might want to take the tube to Willy Brandt Platz and come from that direction. The hotel looks different, but you can check in after hours by calling the number at the door after reception is closed, and once inside it is really decent with lots of food places around.
Lovely, lovely staff, and a nice breakfast with very attentive service and a huge variety. Usually, breakfast isn't available at all at this price of room, this was a lovely surprise.

United KingdomThe beds aren't very comfortable and can get quite hot in the summer. This is understandable, but the downside to the central location is it becomes very noisy if you open a window.
Location was nice and central. 5mins from the train station. Excellent selection of restaurants and takeaways in the area. Tram stops right outside. Good budget accomodation. You get what you pay for really.

Saudi ArabiaThe small refrigerator in my room was not working and there is no AC so the room is hot especially in day time.
The location of the hotel is good near the center and the main station. I came early and they checked me in. The staff were helpful( the man who was there in the evening was very nice and helpful). Many coffee shops and restaurants are close to the hotel. The room size is just ok for one person and it is clean.

United StatesWhile the location is in a lively part of town that may not suit everyone's preference, I did not go out after dark
I recently stayed at the Memphis Hotel and had a delightful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality made the stay very pleasant. The room was clean and quiet, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day. I particularly appreciated the fan in the room, which was a great touch and added to the comfort, especially on warm nights. Overall, my stay at the Memphis Hotel was very enjoyable. The combination of excellent service, cleanliness, and a comfortable, quiet room makes it a great choice for anyone visiting the area. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

United KingdomThe wifi connection was really bad, often slow and dropping out. It was quite expensive for what it was, understandably being so close to the euro fan zone probably drove up prices but for very basic rooms it was a lot of money.
The bed was so comfortable, the property was in a good location and the combination of the fan and open window allowed you to keep cool easily.

RomaniaThere is no AC or any kind of fan so its very hot. You also can not sleep with the window open as its very noisy even if the room has backyard view.
The hotel is walking distance from the train station, Romemberg and Main River. The room was clean and it has a minifridge. Staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was very good for 10 EUR.

United KingdomRoom size was smaller than that advertised. Very basis with no thing in the room or the hotel like tea/coffee or vending machines. However the area was in the middle of a bustling area of small cafes, bars and restaurants. Not far from the main street of larger restaurants but a decent walk to the old town. Close enough to main train station.

United KingdomMost expensive of the 3 hotels we booked for this trip yet we rated it third in quality. On a main road with lots of noisy bars and restaurants with regular trams in both directions. Needed to keep windows closed for noise but this made it too hot in the room. Very expensive for what we got but appreciate being a host city for Euro24 matches will inflate the price. Clean and tidy but looks a little tired and worn out.
Not far from the main station and easy access to the river and city centre. Clean and tidy with a decent sized room and bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful with excellent English spoken. Ok if you just wanted a place to sleep in for a few hours.
