The gym (I know you shouldn't expect much from a hotel gym). It wasn't particularly safe: Someone had left a barbell loaded with no safety clips on the ends. When I tried to unload it, the whole thing collapsed and nearly knocked my head off in the process. A member of staff then came along and asked me if I was a hotel guest, then berated me about making a noise (lol).

Most of the staff were lovely and the spa facilities were awesome. Had a very relaxing time.

The weather was a bit warm during our visit, and having air conditioning in the room would have definitely enhanced the comfort of our stay.

The venue was great—very clean, with friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the Therme Spa complex, which is perfect for relaxing after a long journey. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to suit different preferences. We were also provided with an early check-in by the reception staff, which added to our overall positive experience. This hotel is definitely worth recommending, and we would be happy to come back during one of our next visits to Cologne.

Given a cot without a base bottom and covered in a duvet (not safe for a 7 month old). Took a bit of negotiation from my husband to get it amended. Quite a basic room for the price.

Good location for getting around the center. Nice size family room for two adults, two kids and a baby. Breakfast was good with plenty of options.

I paid 420EUR per night, and stayed six nights, so I was shocked to learn that the spa wasn't included in the price. Wifi was terrible. There was a lot of noise outside

Room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was basic but clean. I didn't have breakfast or use the spa so I cannot comment further on the facilities

Perfectly acceptable modern hotel with an excellent naturist spa to unwind in.

No air con in the bedroom so, with temperatures of 35C outside, room was very hot and smelt a bit sweaty on arrival. Two tower fans provided so sleeping naked on top of the bed with the fans providing a bit of a breeze was tolerable. Dinner in the restauarant was poor (overcooked fish) and few alternatives in the area. A bit outside the main city, but on a tram route. Spa tiled floor very slippery when wet so suitable footwear essential (basic sliders provided).

Chose this hotel because of the availability of the spa facilities. Some reviews have complained that they were not aware that the spa was naturist but the info was quite clear. The facilities in the spa were clean and excellent. One does not have to be nude all the time - people wear costumes/towels/robes in the many relaxation areas, both pools and some of the jacuzzzis. The saunas, steam room and cold plunge are nude, although this was not "policed" unless the saunameister came in to top up the water bowl. The rule excluding under 16's did not seem to be enforced. A good place to chill out (!) for a few hours. The aufguss must be experienced! Good breakfasts, bar and (clothed) seating area.

The restaurant was always empty. Perhaps the mouse running around the floor was the reason guests didn't want to eat there? Glad we only had a beer.

The spa area is very nice. Lots of saunas to choose from. The steam room is good and the pools are great.

It's a bit expensive, and there are things where they charge extra when it should be included. I didn't bother with the €20 breakfast. The spa cost €10 which was ok but then they get you to pay €8 for a dressing gown and sauna towel, which isn't really necessary if you are just going in the pools. If you bring your own dry towel (it's to put between your skin and the wooden surface of the sauna to keep the sauna wood dry and clean) and flip flops (required for walking between spa areas) you can just get changed in the spa changing rooms which means you don't really need the dressing gown. The disposable slippers provided with the €8 package are really poor so bring sliders or similar. There are church bells nearby at 7:30am and 6pm and 9pm, which might annoy some but actually I found to be fine.

The location is good, a quiet area near Neumarkt - about 20 minutes to walk to Heumarkt or just take the tram or subway in a couple of minutes. The room was fine, modern and clean. I went to the spa, which is really a great reason to stay here although it's also open to anyone. The evening I went it was mostly people not staying at the hotel. From what I could work out the only places where nudity is compulsory is in the saunas and the cold water pool. Everywhere else there was a mix of nude and swimsuit-wearing people. Walking between areas most people wore a towel or similar. I really enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool and warm water outside pool au naturel.

The hotel was about a twenty-minute walk from the main tourist attractions in Cologne. The parking lot is about a five-minute walk, but the rates were reasonable. The bathroom floor was slippery.

The room for four people was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

    Only having one night…

Location is very good - even the cathedral is only 15-20 mins walk away. But the main attraction is the spa/therme. If you enjoy saunas and relaxing pools and hot tubs, the price for guests is unbeatable.

The room did not have any tea/coffee making facilities, which was unexpected and a little disappointing, but it did have a mini fridge with a selection of cold drinks.

Unfortunately didn't have time to make use of the spa facilities, but the room was very spacious and the location was great. We arrived late, after the reception had closed, but the spa reception was still open and was expecting us. Parking location map was given to me at reception also, which made it very easy to find the car parking building with the number of one way streets in the area and return to the hotel, just a short walk away.

The floors are extremely slippery with the disposable flipflops you can buy, so next time ill make shee i bring my own. The menu is not very vegan friendly. The terrace only opens at 10am.

So many saunas makes the spa area not so crowded. Also, the spa area gave this great sense of cleanliness, saunas and pools included.
