The street on the river side is a bit noisy. The windows are excellent: if they are closed you don t hear the traffic at all. But if you like to have a little bit of fresh air in the night you hardly find sleep because of the traffic noise. Better take a room without a view - at the back of the building

I did like the hotel. Close to the river, but inwalking distance to the center. Professional good service. A bit pricey (17 Euro), but quite good breakfast in a restaurant with a nice view over the river & city. Always free coffee & tea in the lobby.

First off, our preference is to be on the river facing side of the hotel, with a generously size balcony off the room. It is the best view in Mainz. Our wonderful receptionist was able to change our room on the spot. We have been coming here for over ten years, so they know us. The room is large and recently remodeled, and the bathroom is long but fairly narrow. The shower is small but functions very well.

Only slight inconvenience was that there was no kettle in the room. This would have been useful to make tea/coffee in the room and fill the hot water bottle rather than having to use the hot water from the coffee machine at reception. Otherwise everything was fantastic.

Spacious, airy, clean room. Comfortable bed, great modern bathroom and shower. Very quiet room despite central location on the river front and within walking distance of station, Alstadt and Neustadt. Free coffees downstairs in the lounge, excellent and luxurious breakfast buffet in panorama room (!) on top floor with views over the city and the Rhine. The breakfast selection was very nice too. Service staff very friendly and helpful with ordering taxis and requests.

The location is so close to the river. Very friendly personnel and open to talk to you and answer to your questions. Clean and sanitised rooms.

The room was very clean and well appointed with a great view of the Rhine. Breakfast was on the sixth floor with view of the river and the city. The city centre is within easy walking distance of the hotel which was quiet at night. Public parking is just across the street.

Coffee in the room. Nice rustic elevator should have been cleaned better. Verify coffee cups. Mine had a very musty odor.

There were no Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The "Bar" downstairs was a machine selling canned drinks, in an austere room.

Location excellent, lovely views over the Rhein from Breakfast room. Friendly reception staff. Enormous room, with comfortable beds, modern bathroom.
