Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwedenThey do not have a 24h front desk. They tried to work with their customers to accommodate that. There is no elevator in the hotel to reach the upper floors. If you have any conditions where climbing stairs might be an issue, I heard them telling another customer to reach out when you reserve the room and they will try to get you a room on a lower floor, if possible. It is not wheelchair accessible.
It was a simple but comfortable hotel. The hotel is not a modern hotel, but they have taken good care of it, and recently painted the corridors. I had a single bed room on the 3rd floor. It had a good bathroom with a shower. The room had a nice small table where I was able to use my laptop. The hotel was very close to the train station and close to downtown. The breakfast was a reasonable price and had a good selection of rolls, cheese, meats, yogurt, coffee, tea etc. While my friends live in a different part of town, I would not mind returning and staying here again.

SwedenThe breakfast could be improved. You had to book a time slot for your breakfast, but when you got there nothing was really ready. Seemed a bit unorganized and i doubt it was due to being fully booked since the breakfast room was almost empty. Fairly basic breakfast.
Good location, free parking, nice staff. We have stayed there at least twice before a few years back, and it seems to be newly renovated/updated, which was nice. Would stay there again i we go back to Lüneburg.

The breakfast, for the price you obtain more than you expect. Proximity to train station but also to the old part of the city. The room is basic but I think you have all what you need. People was nice.

BelgiumThe rooms were very, very noisy, someone playing music late at night was clearly audible in other rooms on the same floor. People arriving after a night out were clearly audible in other rooms. The lack of a 24 hour reception made check-in complicated and would have prevented complaining about playing music if that had gone on much later. The shower was so small that I decided not to use it but wait for the IBIS I was in the following night.
The breakfast was very good - much better than I would have expected for a hotel at this price. There was a great selection of meats and cheeses. The warm bread rolls were very good. There was more coffee than I could drink. The staff at breakfast were good. The location was very convenience for the railway station - the reason for choosing this hotel.
