I was expecting a coffee machine in the room, but there was none.

I liked my stay. Very polite staff. Good location, close to the metro, shops and various places to eat. When checking out, the hotel staff allowed us to leave our things in the storage room for several hours so that we would not have to carry them around. I recommend.

Room was a little bit small, small barhroom, thin bed. During the breakfast a lot of food was not re- filled properly. Even of there are three lifts, you should wait a long while to reach your floor.

Close to subway, shops, public transport, very good location. Hospitable and approachable staff, kudos to everyone. At breakfast, there is an obvious lack of an egg, but despite this, there is an abundant choice.

It could be a little bit noisy in rooms with back street view - early in the morning, loaders deliver goods to local stores.

The only big disappointment for me was that my room was directly next to the big public parking on the same level as the ground. While I generally like big glass windows which are normally very positive, because my room for this stay was exactly same level as the parking space right next to my room without any wall or trees or partition screen, I had to keep my thick curtains shut completely all the time (both while I was inside and went away) so as to avoid public people looking into my room. (Any one cld walk up to my windows and put nose directly onto the window!) It might be ok for a male guest, but, am not so very sure if it is reasonable to assign such a room to a female guest?? It is not very difficult to break a single glass window to come into the room for anyone who happened to park the car in the parking lot outside, or hide inside a parked car to watch me change clothes etc everything I do in the room, if I did not completely shut the thick heavy curtain. I was a bit surprised about this and was uncomfortable. Also, one of the room light (bathroom ceiling) was not working and that part was dark. But, I did not want to ask staff to come inside my room & fix it while I stayed there, so it stayed dark, inside the room whose curtains had to be kept closed completely and no sun light had come in! If this room was on a higher floor where peeping into the room through the glass was not possible, or if there were some sort of wall outside of the windows to avoid direct exposure to complete public space, it would have been a safe pleasant stay.

I like this hotel because it is clean & close to the venue I was visiting for this trip. Room is quite bright, and storage space, mirror, sound proof, writing space etc are pretty satisfactory. I was also very relieved & grateful that I could check into my room as soon as I arrived, because I had to travel at the dawn and had no sleep at all the night before the arrival. A Bottle of water, as well as tea bags, coffee sticks etc were provided together with mugs, glasses, and an electric kettle. Wifi connection was fast and working. Bedding was comfortable. Shower pressure etc are good.

Considering the hotel is part of an international chain, I was expecting more amenities for international travellers, like international TV stations (news channels), a bar fridge to keep your drinks cold...

Great location to explore the city in walking distance to U-Bahn system. Shops and restaurants just outside the door.

I have no complaints

The room was well looked after by the staff and they were all most helpful. The location was particularly good as we were attending The Ring Cycle at the nearby Deutsche Oper. Very convenient for the subway.

(1) Zero toiletries eg toothbrush & toothpaste, cotton buds, facial cotton. (2) Floor of shower tub was slippery. I had to ask every time but the staff obliged me w an extra towel to serve as a bathmat. You should fix the floors to prevent falls.

(1) Receptionists were helpful especially the Asian lady who made sure our 3 rooms were on same floor and we were not over-charged. (2) A complimentary bottle of water every 2-3 days. (3)The traditional German restaurant (w jukebox and photos of original owner) and friendly Falafel eatery on WilmersdorfStraBe. (4) Several supermarkets around the corner so we could shop for essentials, fruits n snacks. (5) Bismarkt U-Bahn station around the corner.

It was a bit too loud. In the room the windows weren't sound proof (or even close) so all the noise on the street could easily be heard in the room. At breakfast the room was very loud, I think because all the surfaces are hard so the sound just bounces around.

Although recently renovated, the hair dryer was broken and the smart TV didn't work properly. Some of the staff came to the room to resolve an issue and then just disappeared without giving any feedback.

The triple room was misleading for me, the third bed was only an extra bed squeezed to the side of the main bed. I changed to the superior and then it was ok.

The bathroom is very small and doesn‘t provide enough privacy. The heating over airconditioner didn‘t work at the night as we arrived. We didn‘t know that it is an error and could be fixed easily. Learned next day from the staff and were pleased by the quick fix, but the first night was freezing. Breakfast for 16€ is too expensive. You can get a better value for money one of the several bakeries next door.

There was one member of staff who was working behind the bar. The first night she seemed pleasant enough, thanked me for returning the glasses. However the second night I was made to wait to be served for what seemed like over 5 minutes. Surrounded by about 10 men at the bar all looking at me as a result of me just standing there waiting. Eventually I got the bar staff member’s attention to be rudely rebuffed. I appreciate she was doing other stuff, but it was really awful customer service. It takes a lot for me to complain, but it was really embarrassing and awkward eating at a busy bar wanting a drink to see out a long day of travelling. One person at the bar joked that the member of staff should return to day shift work. I appreciate this person talking to me as it made a bit of an awkward situation bareable. That was the only issue the whole stay.

Typical Leonardo hotel. Looks great, comfortable modern rooms. Professional staff who spoke good English. Nice breakfast with lots of options and every member of staff at breakfast were so welcoming, polite and happy. Plenty on offer too.
