Had everything we needed. Super clean and comfortable. Easy to check in and out. We received a code beforehand to get the key and we could just drop it in a key box, when leaving.

Simple self check-in, everything worked just fine. Perfect for one-night stay, but can imagine longer stay, there is a well equipped shared kitchen with quite large sitting area. There is a supermarket and bakery just next to the property and great greek restaurant nearby (about 5-10 mins walk). Very nice and calm neighborhood but not far from highway between Germany and Denmark though.

The room had a strong smell of a liquid cleaner. We picked the key from the machine and left it there the next morning. There was nobody to greet us or wave us goodbye. It felt a little bit weird, like a house of ghosts. We were there five years ago and it was different in this respect.

Guests have access to a well-equipped kitchen wher you can make yourself something to eat and store food in one of the two fridges. The place is quiet and the rooms are clean.

Nothing - all good.

Everything is good. Good room and bathroom. This time with a small kitchenette, but the common kitchen is good for breakfast and with a dishwasher. Bakery is a couple houses away and good.

Beds were fine, only the pillows were too soft, but that is personal preference. Rest of the accommodation was near perfect! 👍🏻

Nothing really.

Quite (our building was away form the main road). Rooms are spacious and clean. It have all the needed amenities for a family stay. There is a supermarket, a bakery and some restaurants nearby. Check in and checkout are simple (get a key form the key box with a code / drop a key in the box).

They allowed smoking at the front entranceway. It would be nice to move the smokers away from the doorway. They is a nice covered seating area in the garden. That would be a better place for people to smoke, if they must.

We stayed one night in mid-September 2023. We had the ground floor apartment. The apartment is very nice. The bedroom is separate from the dining and living room. The hotel is completely self service — is no onsite staff other than the housekeeper in the morning. The system worked flawlessly for checking and checkout. The owner allowed us to park our tandem bike in the attached garage which we really appreciated. The location is next door to a nice bakery and across the street from a small but very nice grocery store. We walked to to the Greek restaurant for dinner. It is also excellent. All in all, a great place to stay when in the Alt Duvenstedt area or passing through.

That we stayed here for only one night.

Extremely well-run hotel. Very clean, comfortable and with two fully equipped kitchens for guest use (with free coffee). Conveniently located when you want to make a stop at Haithabu on you way to more viking history in Denmark. The restaurant next door is quite goid and there is a nice bakery next to it, opposite a small supermarket. A Greek restaurant further down the street.What more do you need?

Sparkling clean and spacious, located close to the high way but still super quiet, there is a supermarket and a very good restaurant (and even a fire brigate center) right outside the hotel, the owner is very friendly, very good value of money.

Problem: two different addresses were mentioned on the messages we received from the hotel, one was in Neumünster and another in Alt Duvenstedt, not sure why two addresses were used. We almost drove to the wrong address. Confusing, I would use only one address in all communication, so no-one gets confused.

We were only there a very short amount of time, as we arrived at 23.30 and left again at 6.30, so not much time to enjoy anything. Room was spacious and clean though.

Patrons outside on bar patio until midnight. Not too loud, but could definitely hear them. Stopped at midnight when bar closed.

Breakfast not included (coffee only) but there is a shared kitchen and a grocery store across the street that opens from 6:00am.

Very clean rooms and convenient with a shared kitchen when travelling by car. Close to highway but far enough to be quiet. Supermarket across the street and an ok Greek restaurant down the road. Comfortable beds. Would stay there again!
