Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsThe room could be cleaner. Breakfast was fresh but no omlete/scramble eggs. There are no options for gluten-free. The team really tried to help and accommodate that. The bed needs some mainatance (making a noise)
The hotel is a sweet boutique hotel. Very pet friendly and free parking. It is located in a very quiet village area. Right in front, you can find a beautiful landmark (ruin). we enjoyed walking with the dogs The stuff is very nice and hard-working people. Kathryn was doing her best to help us during breakfast (we don't eat gluten). The place has a lovely restaurant, and the team also arranged for us a salad (no gluten free options). The coffee is great!

FranceThe room was prepared for one person. We requested additional towels, blankets that were brought to room, but we’re still missing the water, glass, toiletries, towels.No apology from staff. Room was cold and bathroom quite small. Empty minibar. It looks like everyone is focused on restaurant guests not so much on the hotel guests.
I like the location, breakfast, restaurant.

BelgiumThe staff! Unfriendly, and it took ages to take our order. The breakfast was already on the table when we came down. We were four people in total, 2 kids, 2 adults and there where 6 buns.. the logic? But then there was a complete plate with ham, cheese, other things.. i think u could make 20 buns. The coffee was terrible. We got hard boiled eggs while we didn't ask for it? No I did not like it. And also the pictures on booking.com are not in line with reality

GermanyIt was awfully noisy until 3 a.m. There´s a restaurant on the first floor, people were really loud, probably there was some kind of celebration. And when we arrived the room was prepared for only one person... one pillow, one duvet, 1 set of towels... they said they would bring them right up...but it took them 2 hours. When we asked for them again, one of the workers was kind of rude. "If they told you they will get them, they will" I said we wanted to sleep, he said "well, what do you want me to say..." We asked a third time and someone brought them in 15 mins.
