Kolo 77 was a perfect stay. A lovely old Berlin property, unassuming, unpretentious, basic, well equipped, warm, quiet.

There was a thick layer of grime on the bathroom floor, all the dishes are dirty (as well as no detergent to clean them) and wifi has a cost.

Room is large and spacey and more beds than needed were provided in the room. Staff were friendly and the street were relatively safe and quiet.

I didn't know that wifi was not included, which is probably my fault, but you would expect places to have wifi included. If you wanted wifi you needed to pay in extra, so I rather just worked on my hotspot.

The location felt very secure and safe, and it was close to walk to other areas as well like nice parks and Prenzlauer Berg. The lady who helped me when I got there was super friendly and chatty, and helped me to get to my room.

There should be towels. The only towels provided are handtowel size. Kitchen equipment we not clean enough to use. Rooms are not cleaned daily. Even though they wrote guides about towels, no one came to change them.

Good value for its price. The staff at the reception was helpful and kind. Even though the hotel is located far from the city centre, there is an S-Bahn stop and trains are frequent.

Nowadays I would understand more NOT to have WiFi in a hotel, than to have PAID WiFi... as if it is an "extra" and optional service... It is 2022... You also have to bring your own soap... You have to call a German phone number to get the keys...

Mornings were noisy and you can hear a lot what was going on behind the door. Every morning there was some garbage cleaning going on and it made a lot of noise, difficult to sleep the day away. Room outlets were a little bit of from comfort and it felt there weren't many of them

Apartment was very big and had a lot of comfort things. Loved that we had microwave, kettel, a little stove and a plates and pans. Beds were amazing and loved the decorations.

The kitchen didn't have a dish sponge and we only got a cloth from the reception. The room was dusty and the location not ideal except from the Lidl nearby.

Our room was very spaceous and the area was quite peaceful. We liked the courtyard. Great value for money!

If you want total silence it's not exactly the place, because isolation is not the best and you can hear laughing young people even in the night. I was full of impression about Berlin visit and it was OK for me, but just a mention.

My room was even better than I imagined. Everything was new and very clean. Kitchen was equipped quite enough for a short stay. Safe way (street lights even at night) from the metro station (S1).

Having a microwave would make it even easier to prepare meals. Could do with some more electric sockets.

The room was apartment sized, with large twin beds and bunk bed: large enough for a family or a group of friends. It's on a quiet side street but near a bus route, 10 mins walk from an S-bahn stop and 15 mins from grocery shops and cafes. Having a fridge, coffee pot and dining table allowed me to prepare breakfast and snacks in my room, so good for saving money. Plenty of space to eat a takeaway meal too. There are friendly and helpful staff on duty in the office from 7am. I didn't try the breakfast buffet or the outdoor seating.

Generally was dirty. Floor was only vacuum cleaned , not washed up. I had to buy my sponge and dishwasher liquid as these were not available. I desinfected for myself the toilet and shower. It is not true that free parking is available in the street. The closest free parking space was 600m

A room like a worker's flat. The decor as from 40 years ago, although I do not know if two beds, a table with chairs, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers can be considered any decor. Beds very creaky, it was impossible to turn sideways at night so as not to wake everyone up. Walls very thin, you could even hear your neighbors taking a bath. When it comes to cleanliness, a dead bird on the kitchen window sill should be very eloquent on this topic. Besides, it was relatively ok. Up to 2 am parties in other rooms. Screaming, drunk tenants, running up the stairs, banging on doors and slamming doors. As I suspect, zero staff reaction to such outrageous behavior as it continued the next day. The "hotel" is located in such an area that it was scary to go down with the dog after dark. The two of us walked for greater safety. And the icing on the cake. We were with our dog when checking in at the reception. As it turned out later, the lady at the reception desk should charge us an additional fee. Apparently she did not do it, and when checking out, another lady accusingly stated that no one had a clue about our dog. How is it possible when, while going for a walk with him, I met the lady who checked us in? I do not know. Either way, the lady demanded a surcharge for the dog. According to the information on Booking, which we found quickly, it should be 30 euro. We were charged 50 euros!!! (we were there for two nights which is a very high price. 4 star hotels wish less). We paid a little over 60 euros/person/2 nights. We tried to convey to this lady what they write on the internet themselves, but it was impossible to communicate in English. I don't know if it was for lack of will or skill. I bet on the former, because earlier she had no problem accusing us of "hiding" the dog. To sum up, I have never given a hotel or restaurant a 1 star in my life, and here I would like to give a 0.

The room was well equipped and very clean. The inner courtyard was cute and comfy. Well localised, near an food store (lidl) and train lines (S1 for example). The facility's staff was welcoming and professional. I would recommend with no hesistation this place.

There is no lift, which is no drama, but in case you can not carry stuff keep it in mind. You get only 2 small towels. We arrived by car but were using s bahn, so it is almost 10 min walk to closest station. They required cash payment so you have to make sure to have enough money on you. Like in hostels, people drink and are loud so it is not a place for older people and families with small kids. Like for old building water pressure in the shower is low, so to wash long hair you need a lot of time.

(+)Rooms are big and tall, in case somone would like to see old Berlin buildings atmosphere you can try it out. (+) In our room we had fridge, dining table and TV in a room which is good standard for the hostel.

The apartment is a bit depressive overlooking a small courtyard. They dont offer hand soap which costs less than 30 cents neither a small detergent bottle to clean our dishes. There is no hanger for the shower. It just shows how stingy are the property owners/ managers. And it was not cheap to book there.
