Rooms too expensive for offering shared bathrooms and difficult access to the hotel. The stairs - a climb to reception and another climb to the rooms - need to be fairly fit, especially with heavy luggage. No lift available. No kettles in rooms to make tea - - one member of staff objected to my use of the kitchen for boiling water. I didn't like having to hand back my key every time I left the hotel - - I paid for the room therefore I am entitled to have the key for the duration of my stay.

Didn't take up the offer of breakfast, due to the reviews. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Three of four staff allowed me access to the kitchen to make tea, as there were no kettles in rooms. Needed an unplanned extra night's stay, which was easily arranged.

The beds were terrible, the shower in the room was just a build in cabinet, the noise on the street was pretty bad and it didn't matter if you closed the windows. Also shared toilets are not nice

- not the warmest welcome I've seen - the bed mattress is not amazing - expensive for what it offers - it is super weird to have to give back the key each time you leave (reception is 24/7)

Not sure I understand the bad feedback for this hotel, because: - the shared toilets and shower were super clean - the room was clean - the room was quiet (but I had one on the garden side, it probably helped a lot!l - it is 2 minutes away from the train station For sure not the fanciest hotel by far, for sure it is in a train station neighborhood with all the weird population it comes with, but a nice hotel to spend a night while passing by Hambourg nonetheless.

There was no shower. There is a bit of a damp smell in the rooms but other than that it's fine.

The best part of the hotel is its location and price. All the receptionists I received service from, except one woman, were very attentive and friendly.

Breakfast was overpriced for what it was. Hotel needs a bit of TLC as quite dated. Bathroom is separate to the room but doesn't have a sink so you have to go back to your room to wash your hands.

You get what you pay for. Basic but clean, warm and comfortable. Very conveniently located, next to central train station and walking distance from the centre. Friendly staff who gave us recommendations for visiting the city.

There was no zink in the shared bathroom, only in the room itself - that's no so hygienic. There was two long stairs up to the hotel, difficult with a stroller.

They have a lot of carpet which I don't find hygienic. It has a shared bathroom that you can't lock. There are many addicts to be found in the area.

Shared toilet in the hallway was alright, although it didn’t have a sink, which kind surprised (and disgusted) me. That way you had to go back to your room to properly wash your hands. I also would have liked a coat rack or hanger on the door of the room, especially for bigger jackets in the colder time of year.

We had low expectations when we booked this hotel. We mainly chose it for its location near the main train station. It was alright for a night, I wouldn’t stay longer than that though. The beds were surprisingly comfy and the heater worked really well. Staff was friendly.

The street noise at the hotel was pretty constant all night, including week days. But that probably would be the same for any of the other hotels in the neighborhood.

This budget hotel is probably similar to lots of places near the train station, so good location and price. I'd say the room and the breakfasts were adequate,

Beds were soooooooo soft and very uncomfortable. It said breakfast was included in the fee but when we got there I was told ‘no’ it wasn’t despite it saying very clearly on my booking that it was.

It was clean and the water was hot. The staff helped to quieten down the loud people in the room next door.
