- the internet only available in lobby and unstable - no fan in the room, the ventilation not enough and hot summer (come from scotland)

- room was spacious and clean, you can smell the freshness when u entered into the room - food for breakfast not many choices but contanstly top up, never have empty tray

If you go during summer prepare to be sweaty. The rooms don't have AC resulting in it becoming unbearably hot, luckily you can ask for a key to open the window all the way to make it a bit less uncomfortable. Beds aren't the worst but definitely not the best either. Also note that the room didn't come with towels, soap or any other bathroom supplies.

The people working there are very patient and nice. Location is perfect if you want to visit the Lanxess arena, where its about a 10 min walk to get there. Train station is also right across the street plus there are plenty shops, cafes and restaurants nearby to choose from. If that doesn't satisfy you, you can also cross the bridge to reach the city centre of Cologne which takes about 5 min on a scooter.

It was very noisy at breakfast but that was not a bit problem.

The lady on reception was so friendly and helpful but the man seemed a bit grumpy. I was really pleased to get a big room. I only booked for myself but got some free upgrade. That was nice.

I was surprised there wasn't even hand soap at the sinks in the bathrooms... that was a little gross, especially when sharing in a dorm room. Also, towels are not included. Also, FYI, if you stay in a dorm, you need to make your own bed, which I was not expecting after a long day of travel.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! I loved the variety that was offered. Checking in and out was also convenient. The location was very convenient, so I was grateful for that!

Staff isnt as warm but probably because they are Germans and theyre not know for service. Also wifi is only available at the ground floor no wifi in rooms.

The room was hot with no air conditioning or a fan and we could only tilt the window open at the top. It was 30 degrees that day. Also there were no towels but you could purchase them from reception. It only cost 2€ but it was not clearly indicated on the booking. Overall, I thought the facility is overpriced for a hostel that also charges for towels and parking.

The location was the best thing about the facility. The breakfast was good and the building is clean with parking on site that they also charge for.

With 4 people in a room and the windows don’t open fully it becomes very stuffy and warm, I’m glad it wasn’t very warm outside or it would have been worse
