Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

As always my stay in Dreams Düsseldorf was very good. The room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Perfect after a long day at work. The lady at the reception, like always, super kind and nice.

ColombiaWe couldn't connect to the wifi and there were no staff at the counter every time we passed. The mattresses are maybe too soft.
The room was big, cosy and very clean. It has a huge bathroom. The location is pretty central, close to the HBF and even it is possible to walk to the center.

RomaniaWe arrived earlier than planned because we needed to drop off our luggage to fit our schedule. We had left a message about this on our booking, but since we didn’t receive a response, we decided to go ahead anyway as we had a train to catch. When we got there, we called the number listed on our booking, which belonged to the manager. She assured us that everything was fine and that she would send a colleague to open the door for us. When the colleague arrived, she was a Ukrainian-speaking lady who only showed us two fingers, indicating that check-in was at 2 PM, and didn’t open the door. After we insisted, she opened the door. Despite having spoken with the manager, she didn’t understand and wouldn’t let us leave our luggage. Fortunately, another staff member came and helped us resolve the issue. If it weren't for this issue, i would give this stay a 9. But it was very rude and upsetting.
The room was clean and had everything we needed.

United KingdomA guest had a party from 11pm till 5am, was awful screaming, shouting, music, drug taking, you could hear everything, banging, full on hotel room party and everyone could hear. Contacted hotel via phone, email, booking.com, website etc. Hotel stated they would refund one night but chose not too 😞 very disappointing. Hotel stated they would refund 1 night by verbal communication. And we are disappointed we happily paid for two rooms and two nights. I would still like a refund for 1 night please like you stated. I shouldn't have had to contact bookings. Com three times and you have declined? Please keep your word and honour the verbal refund. (Wifi does not work) honestly our stay would have been perfect if our first night was not so awful. As I've mentioned I would like the first night refunded.

GermanySchool right next door, not a problem, we just didn't know and it made a lot of noise during the day. The staff at check in was friendly, however not incredibly helpful, just gave us the key and that was all the information. The area is alright, half way between two tram stops, and on a good tram line 701 which takes you to a lot of useful places in Düsseldorf. No sheer was on the duvets and that felt a bit strange and uncomfortable. I didn't really like the plastic plants all over, would really prefer real ones and a little bit of effort to make the place a bit more homey, as it is very bland. Towels for the shower didn't smell so good, the room was not cleaned daily.
Nice size balcony. Comfortable bed and pillows. Relaxed and quiet environment.

Austriaall of our rooms were in different buildings, which was kinda strange. there was no one at the reception when we wanted to check out at 9am, and we had to search in the building for staff. the door of out room was not completely closing at the upper half of the door and therefore you could hear everything outside of the room.
