I have no negative comments to make.

The hotel is relatively NEW and benefits from the latest developments in hotel design and practice (there is a robot assistant to help staff who clear the tables, saving them the journey into the area where used crockery and cutlery is cleaned!). Situated alongside the hauptbahnhof, the distance to the hotel is level and doesn't warrant a taxi ride unless travellers have particularly heavy suitcases with them. Staff were helpful, efficient and unobtrusive. I stay in Intercity hotels when I am travelling in Germany provided the cost is not excessive; this ranks as one of the best and is highly recommended.

No complains whatsoever

I haven’t had big expectations from a chain Hotel, but overall experience was great. Room is comfortable and nicely made. Comfortable bed, great shower and small details that make the stay great. We travelled with 1,5 year old and she got her baby bed with cute sheets, pillow and blanket which she loved. Hotel also accepted our dog. All in all great experience. Employees were great and very friendly.

AC may as well have been non-existent. It was advertised as having it but did little to nothing. But even for those who do not require it, the room's windows do not open that I am aware of and there is no fan; leaving you with not much in terms of ventilation. Also it was advertised as having free parking, which is technically true, but that's for the outside street parking which does not have many spaces and on a moderately busy weekend will be taken. If you want to use the underground parking garage that is connected to the hotel, that's another 19 euro for the night.

Cleanliness is excellent. Fairly comfortable beds. I did not try the bar/restaurant area but it looked like it would provide decently.

That you have to pay 20€ for the car park which is extraordinary high but unbearable when traveling alone with a 2 year old toddler. The reception staff at our arrival was an extraordinary grumpy man. No salutation at all and at the garage you could only hear someone swearing and moaning when I rang the bell to let me in. When I made it to the reception, with my sleeping toddler in my arms, I was asked to fill out documents and make the payment- obviously difficult with none of my hands free. I asked if we could postpone this to the next morning- a grumpy raised eyebrow and a short „ok“ was the reply. It’s such a nice hotel but how can you recruit someone who welcomes guests like this? Unbelievable.

It’s a very new hotel and the room was quiet and clean. Breakfast had plenty of food options.

Mug and spoon were not cleaned after previous guest. It seems that this hotel is looking for any opportunity to extra charge their guests. I was not told during check-in that using hotel parking will cost me additional 19EUR.

Nothing - I liked everything.

This is the first time I stayed at an Intercity Hotel. Given that I see these hotels very close to train stations in Germany, I always thought it had some connection with the German ICE trains. Hence I didn't expect much. But somehow these hotels are fancy! I especially liked the design choices. The bathroom was sleek. It made good use of space, like using the empty space beneath the sink as a receptacle for hand tissues. I also liked the gravity-driven sliding door, which eventually closes when you leave them half open. Or the design of the toilet paper holder, as if it's built in the wall and it's a trick to put a new roll of toilet paper on it. The breakfast selection was legit, and had something for everyone. And yes, it's clean, the staff was professional, the interior design was modern and swanky, and it is very close to the train station.

I did not internet connection which requires you to leave you email address and details. Any business peraon hates this as we are all spammed theses days, The connection without detail is slow.

I liked the Breafast. The Location which is close to the trains and Parks. It is easy to walk into Karlruhe from the hotel. the room was clean and comfortable.

location was great, it was really close to the train station. the room was quiet big with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. we also had a breakfast which was really great, lots of choices 👍 i would stay again in here if i come back to karlsruhe

Just like at most hotels these days, there were staffing problems which caused the existing staff to be a bit overwhelmed.

Everything was as automated as possible. Kitchen robot, self-check-in with room card dispersal. Everything is very new and has a functional design. Parking at property is big for European standards:-) Location is excellent.
