Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location of the hotel is very good as it is close to the city center. Also, there are bus stations near the hotel which gives one an opportunity to use public transport to get to different places. What is more, Paderborn main train station is not far away (about 20 min on foot).

Very clean including the room. Location was also good as it was walking distance to the town center and all the shops and transport.

I selected this hotel based on its location, which is right at the edge of the city center, and its early breakfast starting time of 6:30 on a Saturday. All of the facilities were well above average, though nothing remarkable. A good comfortable stay with everything attended to.

United KingdomIt wasn’t good value for money, I booked a double room which I presumed as with other ibis properties that it was for 2 people. I had only put one name on the booking so therefore when I arrived I had to pay an extra 10 euro for extra person and extra 15 euro for breakfast. My friend who fortunately put her husbands name down and had been charged the same price as me originally did not have to pay this. Ibis staff said it was because I did not book direct, so if you use booking.com please make sure you put 2 names down, even though you are booking a double room!
