Beds were not comfortable, bathroom was very small, the curtains fell down and all the furniture was very old.

Close to the S-bahn and U-bahn. Very cheap, but you can sleep and charge your phone. And sometimes take a hot shower, since during our stay the hot water pipes broke and we were not informed about this

The staffs pretended don't know English. Not able to communicate anything. I requested early check in . Although room was ready, but sat in the reception for hrs. Noone will be there in reception. Outside gate will be always closed. It's a building for multiple purposes. They use only one floor. I felt like a kind of mess up which might cause new guests a lot of unnecessary discomfort. The room which was given to me neither bathroom nor toilet attached. There two were there separately somewhere else. So astonishing and disgusting too. These two were so small that very difficult to use. The room was also very small and the basin in room was placed in a wrong side. However room was neat and clean.

Really thin walls and squeaky floors. One time housekeeping came in unannounced while I was at bathroom. No locker safe in the room.

The room was not cleaned. My baby was crawling, and he almost swallowed a pill. Additionally, there was no Wi-Fi coverage in our room. It would be helpful to have more directional labels to guide you to the reception upon arrival.

I assumed it was a 3 Star hotel not a hostel.

There was no misrepresentation except I hadn't realised this was basically a Youth Hostel in all but name. I can sleep anywhere but reading your publicity info for the hotel it definitely sounds more amenable than the reality. No complaints and I fully accept it is "caveat emptor" for this kind of facility.

This "hotel" is a floor of an old (say 1950-60s) building with apts refunctioned as hotel rooms. Bathroom was open: a door was not there, there were hooks on top suggesting something like a curtain, but that was missing either, making the frame a gaping hole in the wall. It was difficult to get into the building without a key (I tried calling the reception but got the impression they were deliberately hanging up), so I was afraid to leave my luggage for the day after checkout. No breakfast. Berlin seems very (tourist-)overcrowded, and I don't know the (hotel-)price situation well, but even for budget travellers I'd not rank this spot into the priority category.

A quiet location despite proximity to S-Bahn. A nice small park with a lake nearby. At least basic facilities (TV, WiFi, shower, bed, sheets) were working/ok.

Squeaking and creaking floor.

I booked this hotel since I had to catch a bus early morning from ZOB which is very close to the hotel. Hotel has very old rooms and the floor of the room creeks and make a lot of noise while walking. The room is decent enough only to sleep at night.

Very old, no kettle in rooms no common space that's useable, didn't have a toilet to use after we checked out.

The location is fantastic, there are inexpensive and open till late food options around.
