Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandThe walk from the Wiesn was a bit painful as it could be located closer to public transport. But otherwise it was great.
Breakfast was excellent, the buffet may look small but it has many delicious and fresh options including scrambled eggs, bacon, nice cheeses, fresh vegetables, and delicious breads and pastries. I tried pretty much everything.

United KingdomWas told I had breakfast included on day 1, then when I went down to ask for it, was told that wasn't the case (think day 1 staff was new, its an easy mistake to make). Kettle not available unless you ask for one, but those were only nit-picky as overall it was a lovely stay.
Staff were lovely, location was incredible. Lift and stairs available. Fridge in room, and complimentary mini bar. Steeped in history, and beautiful, clean rooms. Love the Freddy Mercury mural on building, lovely bar area. Open minded and friendly staff. Very safe as a solo female traveller (iykyk), definitely recommended.

They also provided 2 x drink cards for the rooftop terrace which was a nice touch! It was in a great location with just a short stroll to old town.

ThailandI was likely one of the last guests to check in that day, around 9 p.m., and they kindly upgraded me to a larger room, which was a pleasant surprise. Since my stay was so brief—I checked in late and had to leave early the next morning—I didn’t get a chance to fully experience the comfort of the bed or room. However, I really appreciated the discount they offered for the men's sauna downstairs, which alone makes it worth staying here. I’d definitely choose this place again if I have the opportunity to return to Munich.

Great location, just down the street from the market. Very clean, well appointed room. Very nice rooftop bar that we use with our drink vouchers.

United StatesHonestly did not have anything we disliked. We were disappointed the one night we had available to visit the roof-top terrace we couldn't go as they were 'full' .
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Check in was smooth, the room lovely (and staff quickly gave us a 'tour' of our room). Little things, like a stocked refrigerator, were most appreciated. Breakfast was always fresh, with eggs to order, wonderful fruits, meats and pastries, and even mimosas. Location was very walkable to most locations of interest in the heart of the city and easy to access the subway. We found the room to be comfortable and quiet at night

AustraliaThe room was very clean and well decorated. The sink had a green LED light, which I really liked. The hotel has its own restaurant downstairs open until 11pm and there are many other restaurants and bakeries around the area. It is also located less than a 10min walk from Marienplatz and 4min walk from the tram that goes straight to the central train station. The stuff was very friendly and accommodating at all times.

The location was great, central yet so quiet. Room was large, clean and comfortable and really good facilities. There is also a lot of interesting history to the hotel! Oh and a great little coffee shop for a light breakfast across the road.
