There's no lift, probably hard for the elderly with heavy luggage.

It was a really good stay experience, check in online and use the phone to open the door. Have a public kitchen to cook and social areas for chatting. Overall, over my expectations.

The rooms we were allocated were on the top floor, and there is no lift (to be expected with a hostel), but we weren’t informed prior about the floor we were staying on. The booking states “parking and street parking”. The street parking is all gone by 4pm and the hostel itself on has 3 allocated parking spaces, so parking should be booked ahead.

The hostel is in a great location. The rooms were comfy and the in room toilet and shower were a huge bonus. The staff were helpful and the mobile friendly room access is very clever and useful.

- it could be more clean, the shelf for each bed and in the bathroom look dusty. - one tram line passes near the window so it could be noisy from time to time. But not always. - really small wash basin. ( All in all, it’s not perfect, but with less than 20 euro per night it’s fine, got everything you need.)

- Nice location: it’s neither directly in city center nor near central train station, but if you have Deutschland Ticket, then it’s very convenient. The nearest tram station located less than 1 min walk, all the trams that pass here will take you to the central station with only 3 stops away and the city center. There’s also a supermarket around the corner. - Nice facilities: equipped with kitchen, balcony, shower is hot, water drain works fine. Locker in the room. Enough for your stay.

The lockers were making too much noise everytime I tried to open one, and there isn't that much space even in the Biergarten to stay around (but when it closed you could always stay in front of the hostel). About the kitchen, it was big enough but there wasn't enough cutlery (fortunately I brought mine).

It is not close from the train station so calmer and safer. The rooms are fine, with space. The staff was mostly nice and I liked using the kitchen.

Not all the beds had sockets nearby and there were no lamps. Had to take a tram from the central station to get there, but only one stop away.

Room was comfortable, with tables, cabinets for the luggage and a big window. Bathrooms were shared with the whole floor, but it was ok.

Hostel is easily reachable via public transport. View from street is there, so you cannot miss it. Host was super friendly and caring, well, maybe because my check-in time was rather late before end of reception opening hours. Few toilets per floor.

The lady at the reception in the morning is a bit too strict. Reminded me of my hostel warden during my studies. She was neither impolite nor rude towards me and but I guess being stern is the nature of the job but having/witnessing an uncomfortable and sometimes condescending interaction first thing in the morning on vacation is not how I would like to start my day. The other point is the price of the accommodation. I felt other than the location, not much in the hostel justifies the high price which doesn't include breakfast, towels, fan or coffee.

The establishment is a standard European hostel. A bit of a climb to reach but the location could not have been better. It is a kilometre away from the city centre and a little more from the Hauptbahnhof (accessible via U-Bahn close by) yet in a quiet part of the city making it an ideal spot to have a peaceful sleep. The staff is friendly and the service is standard as you would expect for a hostel. The toilets and the bathrooms were clean and the entire building was hygienic. The rooms are basic with basic facilities which is okay since most guests only come to sleep at night. There is an option for breakfast for 8 Euros in the morning, towels and fans are available against a deposit at the reception. Good for families, groups of friends or solo travellers.

The bar/lounge area was a bit dirty and disorganized, at times there was no one at the desk. The room was a little bit noisy in the morning because of the traffic. Some guests are really noisy when they are packing their stuff, I know it has nothing to do with the hostel, but maybe a sign reminding the guests to respect others' rest and pack outside the room would be appreciated
