Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

EstoniaThe opening to the shower stall was quite narrow, which means that if you're a bigger person, you'll have to do some acrobatics to get in and out of it.
The location was very good - only a couple of minutes away from the main station. Unfortunately there seem to be many people struggling with drugs and/or homelessness in the area, so I'd recommend to be cautious just in case. The check-in and check-out process were easy and very convenient. It's almost impossible to find the place unless you watch the instructional video on how to get in, so definitely do that. The room was quite clean, I only found lipstick marks on a glass I was going to drink out of, but otherwise have no complaints over cleanliness. The customer service person who answered my call was very helpful and polite when I didn't find the door to the accommodations straight away.

It was right in front of the tram. And it was a walkable distance from the main train station. The room has enough space and the bed is very comfortable.

GermanyThere was a really weird and aggressive smell coming from the bathroom. I suspect that it was detergent. The code to get in didn't work. I had to call them to get a new one. There are two doors next to each other. One labeled entrance and the other one main entrance. Only the main entrance door works. Super confusing. . I didn't see a single person working here.
The room was big and clean. It was quiet. You can stream to the TV from your phone, which I have never seen before in a hotel.

CyprusThis is not a hotel. I will be contacting booking for a full refund for false advertising. This is not a hotel. There is no service. There is no reception. There is nothing that could qualify this as a hotel. It is a dormitory and should be advertised as such. If I knew this was not a hotel when I booked I would not have touched this with a 10 foot pole. There are real hotels around every corner that charge less per evening.
This was the worst experience I have ever had. This is not a hotel. I feel that a fraud was perpetrated as this is not a hotel.
