I called in advance to get informed about and make sure I book the right room/suite (all we cared about was the river view) and ended up choosing the junior suite because I was promised "the best of the best view". I think the only options with an actual good river view might be the penthouse/panorama room (which we were not told on the phone) if at all, because we had practically no view of the river from our room. It could be that none of the suites have the view? Our suite was in the building further back from the river, as opposed to the reception building (closer to the river and blocking our building). I assume the penthouse/panorama are in the reception building but I can't know for sure. I just wish we were told any of this on the phone, it was disappointing walking into the suite and expecting "the best of the best" then only seeing walls. I would still give this place a 10. When we come here next time (which we are), we'll try the panorama or prestige or whatever it is that has an actual river view...!

Staff were very accommodating. Location and atmosphere of this place are virtually unmatched! Breakfast was great, staff had no problem delivering it to the suite and were right on time. Jacuzzi was really nice in sunny weather and private setting (private garden) and the pleasant staff were very accommodating in preparing it for us and, honestly, in all of our wishes they were just very helpful. This is mostly aimed towards being a residence (long-term stays), and despite the fact that we only stayed there for one night, the stay/staff were impeccable. The residents of the place that we ran into were pleasant and chill. There were some nice supercars parked in the lot which I assume belonged to them.

The most amazing location on the river across from the castle and old town. The view was awe inspiring. Upon checkin the staff were so accomodating and helpful and not only sat with us to make us feel welcome they went out of their way making reservations and finding us places to eat and visit. The suite we had was luxuriuously appointed and very comfortable. The included no-cost mini-bar was stocked full of local and typical snacks and drinks for us every day.

In the room we couldn’t find the lights of the kitchentte. Or maybe it wasn’t working. It is a tiny detail but it would be good to have extra lights in the entrance.

Everything! Location is perfect. It is a wonderful design hotel. The room was excellent with great details. The breakfast was super. It was also great that the hotel had a private parking lot. But above all, the service quality was unbeatable. Everyone is the facility, from the front desk to the kitchen were extremely friendly. They really did their best to help us and enjoy our visit. A total 5 star establishment. We highly advice to everyone.

This is a superb small hotel which we loved. Our room was splendid with a lovely view of the river and Heidelberg. It was stylish, clean, large and very comfortable. The hotel staff were all super helpful and friendly, they welcomed us warmly, loaned me a plug adaptor, arranged our taxi back to the station and immediately sorted out a small problem with the shower I told them about. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and great waiters. The hillside gardens at the back of the hotel have good views and a small glass walled gym where you can take in the views as you exercise. The walk along the river into the old town was most enjoyable and the scenic Philosophers walk is nearby too. Heidelberg is a fascinating, picturesque town with lots to do and a huge choice of restaurants, bars and cafes.

The way to the room was a little bit confusing. It’s required keys and cards and transfers between stairs and elevator. Maybe you can figure out a better way to the room.

It’s a tiny luxurious place to stay. Everything is well prepared in the room. Staff are very nice and friendly.

There are a couple of rooms which require a roundabout way of getting there which with heavy suitcases wasn’t ideal, but it’s only a small thing & everything else was wonderful!

It’s a beautiful property with clean, comfortable rooms. We had a view over the river which was also very nice. The breakfasts were great, with a continental as well as a variety of cooked egg breakfasts available. The staff were very friendly & helpful with making reservations, enquiries about public transport & arranging sauna sessions. The sauna & jacuzzi were clean and easily accessible.
