The no sink situation wasn't ideal but we managed it, a couple of the devices to open the windows are really squeaky. If you don't like steps then this won't be good for you especially as a top floor apartment but again it didn't really affect us.

Location was perfect right in the middle of the main area. Also a 2 mins walk from the river. Good views of the city especially with the small patio area outside. Plenty of space in the apartment.

It was on a busy tourist street with a trolley running around often. Not enough lights, rather dark. Water pressure can vary alot. Very Noisy at night and during the day.

Location was good in that you are in the city center. The staff let us check-in early, and were helpful and responsive - good communication. Spacious.

Pillows were awful. Was noisy outside but we knew that was the case and didn't bother us.

Super comfy beds, was as described, easy check in and check out. Very very close to Hermarkdt parking building and multiple eateries. Right in middle of old town/central to key locations. Kitchen had basic things to eat simple meals. Nice and warm

The shower is horrible. There is only 2 settings on it for the water. Extremely hot or ice cold. The shower head keeps falling from the wall too! Impossible to shower like that especially with a large group.

Rooms and space were great. Also the location is perfect! Right in the city, with all bars and restaurants around the corner. We traveled as a group of 6 people.

No air condition, could be a problem during the summer.

Booked the room for the football, euro 2024, to see Scotland play and on arrival I discovered that the hotel was a 60 second walk from the fan zone 😀 The room was expensive, but I put that down to supply and demand for the football being on. Bonus point was that room 4 overlooked the Rhine

I had a very good room on the river side with look to Rhine. Nicely furniture and convenient. The hotel is relatively close to historical centrum, but, as it is just a several hundred meters from restaurants, it was not noisy there. If you have time - visit Brüh castle. There are S-Bahn station in 5 minutes from the hotel and with one change you can reach the castle in circa 40 minutes and enjoy its rooms and park. P.S. No breakfast in the hotel, but a lot of restaurants nearby. And WIFI in my room was good, I had no problem with it.

Lights in bathroom and so called "kitchen" did not work. The "kitchen" is ancient and tiny with extremely poor facilities. No table or chairs. The toilet had no lid. The shower was cold. There was no soap or shampoo in the shower. The sofa had large stains on it. WiFi was slow and unreliable. The stairway was smelly. The "landlord" sent us a message through booking.com after confirmation of our stay, basically saying the description on booking was unreliable and denying any responsibility for that. I would say that is a large red flag. In my opinion the "dwelling" is absolutely substandard and should not be listed on booking.

The location is great, if you don't mind the outside noise. Also the large bed in the living room was rather comfortable. Those are the only positive things.

No facilities to eat or drink. No change of bed linen or beds made during our stay 3 nights.Shower blocked with hair. No reception facilities or contact number if there was a problem. Lock in bedroom door not great. Lamp over bed not working. Windows very dusty. Handles on locker in room broken.

The location for this penthouse apartment was on a very loud and noisy street. Don't expect to sleep before 4:00am on a Saturday night. There were several flights of stairs to climb which is difficult with luggage. The key just spun around in the lock and door was very difficult to open. No one in reception to help.

The good stuff..., the apartment had a nice layout.

The property was in clear need of renovation and updating. The shower was extremely difficult to ‘pull’ on, the mice could be heard clawing at night and the heating did not work. The staff were friendly and helpful when around but they were not on reception 24hrs and there was no housekeeping for the duration of our stay.

The location was ideal for the time of year as we were there for the Christmas markets and they were literally across the road.

No problems at all

The hotel is a very old building facing the river in the old town area of Cologne. Close to station (15mins) and other public transport. Its an old building however with no lifts but you are aware of this at the time of booking and was no problem for me. The bathroom was modern, good hot water with excellent water pressure - even for the top floor. For me, the price was perfect - I didnt need a £200 room in another location.
