The hotel is advertised on Booking.com with a resturant on site. If it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays Every week the booking site should say so. This hotel therefore does not have a resturant and is marketing a product it does not have! We parked in the public carpark accross the road the hotel car park may be behinf the hotem but is not clearly sign posted, and no guidance is sent prior to arrival.

Outdated and not very appealing, felt more like a 1980s hostel or a state run institution rather than tourist accommodation. A little grubby, cobwebs and dead insects. Broken sink in the bathroom which was about to be replaced apparently

The pics are not really representative, we expected something better. The room had old furniture, and a strange smell. There was no wifi signal and warm water needed a lot of time to appear. Also we had to climb two floors of old wooden stairs, which is not pleasant with luggage.

The breakfast was very good, as well as the restaurant.

Nice hotel in the countryside outside of Bonn. It's about 15 mins to drive from Bonn. Nice old estate, now apparently used for seminars and conferences etc. The room was basic but in a nice and rustic way. Great breakfast as early as 6:15am.

There wasn't a hot water jug in my room to make coffee or tea but the restaurant staff were very obliging whenever I asked for some.

I loved the character, surroundings & history of the hotel. My room was very comfortable & clean. Staff seemed lovely plus friendly. It was great having a 'German' experience with the food, which was excellent including breakfast. I had to work to recall my german to translate things & initially to check in but that is not a complaint I have with the place. My son & I stayed for 2 nights & I would definitely stay again.

The WIFI is terrible, and the restuarant is not available on all days during the week, and considering there is not a great selection of restaurants in the area, it would have been nice to have a small bar fridge in the room so that personal snacks could be kept there.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating, the room was clean, and the breakfast was a good selection.

Very good breakfast! I asked for a later check out so I could take a hike in the morning, take a shower and then have lunch at their restaurant before I needed to leave. This was no problem. Enjoyed the hike and the Schlesien raviolis were excellent!

Negative side was that restaurant was closed because of a big wedding next day (we found a another good restaurant 400m away) the pillows are really flatt.

Quite a grand place with a courtyard which I was able to park my bike in and they closed the gates at night. Comfortable room. Food was good.

There is nothing available information-wise in any language other than German and no one spoke English which is unusual I would say in a hotel. Had I not had the German I learned 30 years ago to fall back on it would have been complicated :)

Comfortable, quaint hotel. Great shower, cosy room. Good buffet breakfast. Very big portions in restaurant for dinner. Fantastic location for hiking

Shared shower and toilet which is not mention in the app!! No way to lock the shower/toilet while you are in. In addition there were quite a few human hair there and wasn’t look too clean. Room was cold. Bed was uncomfortable. No internet in the room.

We came in at around 6 pm and there was nobody around, we tried every door and eventually found out that the "reception" was inside the restaurant. We were expecting the room to be old fashioned but not as old fashioned as it actually was. Apart from that it was not clean at all. The floor was dirty and I found a spider next to the curtains. The breakfast had very few choices but the selections very tasty

Good parking and no additional fees for that. Breakfast was ok
