the bathroom was tiny. toilet was dirty when I checked in. bright lights outside from brothel next door shining in past the under sized curtains most of the night

They charge you an extra 3.5€ per day for 1 person, and in addition to the payment, they determine this as the cost of the items in the room, I saw such dirt on the bed coverlet and it was on the wall side I hope they didn't see it because of their good intentions because it was disgusting

Sound isolation was not good. Rooms are too small, no wardrobe in the room. The bed makes too much noise and under the bed should be cleaned.

The big toliet and the bed are good comfortable. Even we have water maker for tea and coffee. Very good air-con equipped in the room. Cost performance hotel in Hannover, free parking in front of hotel, nothing complaint. Grateful for friendly receptionist.

There's a €3.70 city tax (or some type of e tea tax) which is needed to be paid before I could check in. I already booked and paid for the accommwhen I found this out. Because I was arriving when the check in was closed (after 11pm) the person I spoke to insisted that I pay this small amount of €3.70 before he left the key for me. I suggested to pay in the morning before I leave but he claimed that most people leave very early and do not pay. So I had to delay my departure to send €3.70 otherwise I had the feeling that they would not leave the key for me, which would have been extremely inconveniencing. I also could have easily had internet problems and not be able to make this extra transaction (to a private account). Not sure what would have happened then. As a direct result of this situation, I would suggest that BOOKING.COM obligate accommodations who have rules like this to clearly state it when they advertise their accommodations. Or have the accommodation include it in the total price. It is really bothersome to make such an issue over this extremely small amount of money for extra tax.... especially when the client has already fully paid for the accommodation. Also, because this payment is made outside of BOOKING.COM it will be difficult to trace/rectify in case of fraud etc. I also think it's fair for me, as a customer, to know these types of troublesome details BEFORE I book and pay for the accommodation. I would not book this accommodation if I knew this from before.

The communication went really well. I called, and all my queries were effectively answered. All arrangements were made as promised. I saw some previous comments about the accommodation being in the middle of the "Red Light District" but this "negative aspect" is exaggerated in my opinion. The area seemed clean, non violent and I felt absolutely safe.
