You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe location is central and it is easy to walk to the hotel from the train station. It is very close to the beach. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff seemed nice, though I didn’t have much interaction with the staff other than at breakfast.

GermanyReception staff wasn’t able to communicate properly in any language. When we checked in, the receptionist gave us a beach card per person and said this is for all guests for free entry to the beach. However, at checkout the other receptionist asked us to pay 4€ each for the beach cards. We told her that her colleague told us that these were complimentary but she was unable to communicate with us (We tried to speak both German and English with her). Also, no one checked the beach cards. Please check if any beach card is needed before accepting them from the hotel. Furthermore, our room was really small and it’s not couple friendly. We specifically asked for a double bed, but they gave us the room with twin beds.

United StatesWiFi was a complete disaster. The hotel has dead spots and we could not pick up the WiFi signal in the room. It worked in the hallway and the breakfast area, but it was really annoying that we could not get a signal in the room. We had to get out of the room to make Voip calls. The morning front desk attendant agreed that I can switch rooms after other guest moved out after lunch time. Unfortunately, the afternoon front desk attendant was unwilling or too lazy to switch us around. She instead recommended that we should stay the next time at another hotel.
Overall the hotel is in a great location within quick walking distance to train station and beach right in the center of the town. The breakfast was pretty decent. The rooms were also fine.
