My room faced the train tracks, got woken up a few times. Had to shut the windows as there's no way you can sleep with trains running all through the night. Shame there wasnt a better smoking area than standing outside the front door.

Location was superb, close to lots of resturants etc. Also 5 mins walk away from the central station. Breakfast there was plenty of choice for every taste, no complaints. The staff were friendly, profession and helpful. Especially the guy who loves braveheart on reception.

I did not like that the curtains in the room could not be properly closed, therefore quite an amount of light entered in the room. I would have like to have more organic options in the breakfast too.

I know I had the window slightly open in my room (to let fresh air in), however, my room overlooked a busy road, which did wake me at 4.00am.

The bath in my room was great, as it was almost long enough for me to completely lay down in it! This was a pleasant surprise, and much needed after a long, tiring day of traveling. Great location, as it was a short walk from the train station and there were loads of potential places to eat. I chose the Thai restaurant next door and was not disappointed. Fantastic food, a nice atmosphere...and a steady stream of diners!

Not far from the station. Great breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff. A bath! Good veggie restaurant (Hillers) a few minutes walk away. Some might think it is dated, I'd say it has charm!

The lobby and reception area is small and dark. There is only one very old vending machine that they call a "bar" and so this is misleading.

Two small things that would be great to fix: the pillow was uncomfortable, and the curtain for the dormer window did not really block out a lot of light (because the curtain was hanging too far from the window).

The room was facing the railroad tracks, with a lot of freight trains going by during the night. It was okay with the windows closed, but still audible. The shower had no handheld shower head, only a big overhead "rain shower". There was a shower cap provided, but it still just isn't a good way to take a shower.

There aren't many facilities. in the hotel in general Also the room whilst spacious were basic - TV had no good reception, there weren't enough plug sockets and no USB outlets, there was no digital clock, the lighting was poor. Whilst the cleaning staff did a good job cleaning the room, they stand of Body Odor (everyday), so it was impossible to be in the room for a few hours after they had clean - one had to open the windows wide, even if it was cold and raining and then return to a frezzing room a few hours later.

At night the room is to dark - no lamp at the ceiling, only a somewhat dim floor lamp and wall lamps.
