Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyTo me, the price for the room was a little high for a hotel so far out from the city center. It was located near a metro station; however, it was a 2 train (approx 50 min.) ride to get to the center of Stuttgart. The other issue I had was with the self-service check in. I possibly misunderstood the check in instructions sent before I arrive and assumed I had to use the self-service check in. Upon arrival, I did not check to see if the reception was staffed, so I just used the self-service check-in. It required me to pay for the room again (I had prepaid) and I assumed there was nobody at the desk and just paid with the assumption that I would resolve it late. However, the reception was staffed and I brought up the issue with them. They asked for my bank info quickly took care of it (I think - still waiting for any charges to show on my bank statement).
Really nice hotel, close to a metro station. Room was small, but was nicely furnished and clean. The staff were very friendly and worked to quickly resolve a billing issue. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was just a 1 minute walk from the metro station. I did not try the attached restaurant/beer garden, but it looked very nice.

FinlandStaff at the breakfast not friendly at all, quantity and quality of vegetables was poor, one day even rotten cucumbers on the tray. No Air-conditioner in the room, therefore very hot inside during summer days, we had to keep the window open and it was car engines noise coming from the street.
The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, Free WiFi was good, proximity to SI-Center (15 min walk).

GermanyA dream in (dark-) brown! Was fancy some decades ago... All seemed to made for small people, small bathroom also for slim people only! Drinking glasses were not clean, shower changes temparatures, bed was very basic, breakfast in a too small and crowded room, towel was taken away with no replacement. Guests must get the toilet paper by their own from a cupboard in the floor!

We booked 2 nights, 2 doubles and a single room. Bathrooms are small, beds comfortable, rooms clean. Rooms facing courtyard and outdoor seating may be noisy from staff and guests. Hotel was booked full, so breakfast was organized into 3 sittings. All the staff was friendly and helpful with our English-speaking group. Easy access to tram and bus to get around the city. Restaurant attached was convenient and very good.

GermanyThe room was not really clean. The mirror in the bathroom was covered with toothpaste. Also, the cleaning never changed the towels - they just folder them back dirty side inside. When I unwrapped the foot towel, all the dust and small particles were there. The breakfast also was not really anything fancy, just the bare necessities: eggs, some bread, butter, jam, only one type of cheese and meat.
The location is great, only 15 min to the theater. Personal was super friendly and cheerful.
