Breakfast was ok. Beds aren't numbered so you can't tell which is yours if you arrive late. Shower was tiny - I kept turning it on/off or hot/cold every time I turned around in shower and I'm only 175cnm.

All-floor communal shower had a blocked plughole for days (But in-room shower was clean). Reception was occasionally overwhelmed by people checking in.

Lots of lounge & work space with power. Reception served beers late. Laundry was useful.

Basic maintenance neglected. Room 233 bed 6 needs its locker repaired properly because the lazy cable tie solution is not secure at all. The bunk beds also move a lot and could be much improved by having a few screws tightened.

Perfect location for the Hauptbahnhof. Nice bar with football on TV and a chilled atmosphere. The lockers under the beds are large and save space, so the room is quite comfortable in size. Bathrooms in the room and in the bar were clean.

the tiolet and bathroom were very small, not for tall people, the sink was very down and the mirror was very close to it, so you could barely moove in the bathroom, it wasnt even 1sq meters big, it was impossble to use it properly. Overall this was way tooooooo pricy for the facilities and hostel overall

location was perfect, very comfortable for catching train or flixbus, very near to that, but keep in mind that you will meet lots of creepy people as it is next to central station. Overall I fell safe there. They let me stay in the launch also couple of days after when I was back to the city and was searching for a place to work. I appreciate that !!!

Toilet and shower looked like to be put into a closet. In the middle of the night, I went to the lobby toilet, didn't want everyone to hear me doing my business. 😵‍💫

What you see is what you get.

Location (5 minutes to bus station - Flexibus-, 1 to metro…, walking distance to city centre) and stuff. Toilets, even small, inside the shared rooms, also outside. Cheap lockers and late check out. Comfortable beds. Good value for money.

I was not so happy with the shower on the shared room, it is so tiny that it is impossible to keep it clean. The same with the sink, it was so tiny that even brushing the teeth was very complicated.

I was just staying overnight so I didnt expected much from the room. In general the location was perfect to just jump out of the train, spend the night there and jump to the next train. The price is reasonable to what you get. I specially appreciate that they have lockers for the luggage, and that you can really work on your computer on the shared areas.

Hamburg is a city with a ridiculous accommodation price throughout. Hotels that are normally 100eur anywhere else, for some reason in Hamburg they cost 250eur. So, Generator follows the same logic. It should actually be priced on the 40-50eur bracket for the accommodation that I paid 100eur for.

Location is great for the proximity to the station, but it is a very dodgy area.

A crowded hotel. The elevators are inadequate. At midnight, the entire hotel was evacuated due to an alarm, and we waited outside in the cold for half an hour without any explanation. It was impossible to open the window due to excessive noise and commotion, as the hotel is in a very central location.

It was very central. It was clean. The internet was excellent.
