Unfortunately one of the beds were very bad. In the double room the door to the bathroom was of glass and rather see-trough. It was not appreciated by the teenagers living there. In neither of the rooms there were any lock on the bathroom doors.

Nice little place to stay when passing through Germany. Just a few minutes from the high way, but still on the countryside. Old buildings and a bit worn down, but very clean and cosy. Close to the Gasthaus where breakfast was served, and in the evening dinner could be had too. We booked a family room (3 beds, 1 double bed and 1 single bed in a small sideroom) and a double room (2 beds in a ligne). In the rooms there was also a small desk to work if needed. Nice staff and a lovely gentleman assisting at breakfast. Breakfast had all you want and supergood coffee! Reasonable price for room and breakfast.

The beds were a bit tired but fine for a night or two.

Lovely people. My wife, two young kids and I had an overnight stay to break up the long drive from Austria to Rugen and choose this place as it was roughly half way between the two. The chef was the only one who spoke any English but everyone was so welcoming. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The dinner was unbelievably good! The village is very quaint and it was good to get a feel for life in more rural Germany.

Family run guesthouse and bar. All very lovely. We had a dinner in the bar that night, very tasty homemade traditional food, reasonable prices, nice beer. Breakfast was good value too

The room was good and big. There was a heating in the room. The family who owns this pension was friendly. The dinner we took was a very good family meal with fresh products. The breakfast (in option) was good.

The only thing , but this is very personal , the pillow and the mattress were too soft , often used I suppose. But nevertheless I slept very well.

I took a delicious meal in the evening , Schnitzel with mushrooms , very tastefull. The people in the guesthouse are very friendly . I was charmed by their hospitality . Also the breakfast gave me everything I needed

I had sent a message asking if we can check in at 3.0 pm. Nobody bothered to respond. Then we started late and called the property to inform that we will reach around 11.0 pm. Called their number 20 times at 10.45 pm. Nobody picked up or opened the door. Finally we had to book another hotel at 12.0 night and sleep.

It was not a room with a bathroom but rather a bathroom with a room - you walk in to the bathroom … and then you have doors to the room. The room was so outdated like I’ve never seen something so old… every piece of furniture was somehow broken, loose and dirty. it was freezing cold, no one thought about turning the heating on before we arrive event though it was middle of December. No one was replying to my messages on booking that I’ve sent a week in advance. No one was picking up the phone. Eventually after days of calling, someone answered but didn’t spoke a word of English.. I had to ask a German-speaking friend to make a call on my behalf to ask for late check-in. Unfortunately we were informed (with the help of the translating friend) that after we arrive we have to call a number that will be „somewhere there” to check in. We did, and the person on the phone - again spoke no English at all. We had to use google translate and somehow managed to let them know we’re waiting. The person who showed up with the keys - spoke no English at all and even after we said we don’t speak German kept talking in German to us, not even trying to use gestures or anything to describe what they mean. The check-in happened in the ‚restaurant’ in the building next door - thank god we didn’t book the breakfast- it was horribly dirty and smelled really bad, not to mention boiled eggs were already sitting on the table in the breakfast area (we were there before midnight).

The bathroom, towels and sheets looked clean. And it’s the only good thing about this place.

Every thing is OK.

I liked hosts. They were hospitable. I had everything I need for staying over night with my two cats.
