We didn't much like the pillows, but they were the same everywhere we stayed in Germany, so it's just our personal preferences. We also find it amusing that two twin beds are pushed together and called a Queen, but that also happens all over Germany. Not a complaint, just a comment.

The location is excellent. We had requested a room in the Annex with a view of the castle and that's what we were given. Fabulous. Ground floor room gave us a little patio with the castle view. Breakfast buffet had a great selection and we started each day well fed. The bathroom is small and a bit dated, but fully functional and clean, so no complaints. Lots of storage for those who wish to fully unpack suitcases.

Hotel Garni Schlossblick offers an unbeatable location with stunning views of Neuschwanstein Castle, making it a fantastic choice for any visit to the area. The proximity to the castle is incredibly convenient, allowing easy access to explore. While the beds were a bit small, the overall comfort and the breathtaking scenery more than made up for it. A great spot for a memorable stay near such a historic landmark!

WiFi was poor. Even in breakfast area and lounge the signal was weak. In our bedroom we had to go into the shower and hold our phone high to connect. Didn't like the fact that reception disappeared at 12:30. I returned to the Gästhaus on my own as my wife was still walking but could not get in to ask for a second key to get to my room.

Great location for Schloss Neuschwanstein and Schwangau. Good breakfast. View of the castle from out bedroom and from the breakfast room. Ensuite bathroom with spacious room was welcome.

Room was extremely hot and because of the wasp issue in the area, we couldn't open the door. Would have loved a fan. Would have preferred an upstairs room but not sure if they were an extra cost.

Superb location for visiting Neuschwanstein, we could see the Castle from our room. The town was lovely. Plenty of choice for breakfast and the second morning - the lady was very friendly. Lots of parking. A lot of the restaurants close in the evening but the ones that were open were excellent.

Rooms are outdated There was a heavy door right outside that closed itself with a big “bang”. As people used it frequently during the evening/night, it did hamper our sleep a bit.

There was no AC at this hotel - which I know is standard for hotels in Germany. However, this was the only hotel on our stay that did not provide a fan to at least move the air around. It was 92 the day we were there. Impossible to sleep in the heat (even with window open).

The check in process was great! Loved the key box system. Location was amazing with parking. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly.

We were in the annex building which didn't have air conditioning (which we knew when we booked) so we had the windows open and the weather was nice during the evening. They had beautiful landscaping around the building that the bees really appreciated but these big bees kept flying into our room since the windows have no screens in Germany. Luckily, we are not allergic, but it might be an issue for people that are. I had requested no down/feather since I was allergic and that was all that was in the room when we got there. I previously contacted the hotel to let them know but I realized they never responded to the message. There was no one there to ask so I ended up putting the pillow and comforter in the wardrobe, taking lots of meds and using my blow up pillow from the plane. I later figured out that this was a norm for Germany and ended up with no blanket or pillow a few times during the trip. The stairs in the annex were spiral and narrow so we opted to take only our backpacks up to our room which worked well.

The location was a 10! The hotel was within sight of Neuschwanstein Castle even if our room wasn't. The main road was right in front of the hotel and very busy during the day, but it was very quiet in the evening, overnight and early morning when the castle wasn't open. Breakfast was a nice continental breakfast, and the fresh baked bread was amazing! We were able to take advantage of the complimentary parking, but it might be an issue if all of the rooms had cars since it was limited. There was a public pay parking lot directly across from the hotel as an option though. The room was basic but the twin beds weren't right next to each other which we appreciated. It was a good value for the money!

To many people around the restaurants and hard to get a table. Stayed in the house behind the main building... There were no view and strange noise from the house next door. The bathroom towel diid not smell so good.

Very nice and helpful staff. We came early and they let us park before tjek in. Also there was a bustet pipeline, so there was no water, but it got fixed really quickly. Good breakfast. Close to castle and restaurants, but very crowded. Quiet and peaceful at night.
