Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The hotel was okay. Not the most modern, and the window was cracked, but all in all a fine and clean hotel room for a cheap price. The hotel staff was very helpful, we could only arrive after the reception closed, and we got a code for a safe so we could easily pick up our key. The instructions to find out room were very clear. Thank you for that!

Slovakia- in dark it is hard to spot the direction sign for the hotel (it is in the industrial zone) - hard to find exit from parking garage to the reception - extra loud fan in the bathroom - some might find neighbouring companies loud in the morning - there is warning that is on your own risk to use elevator when there is nobody at reception - no information received during checkin (wanted to have breakfast, but this was not offered to us)
- large underground parking place open until 23:00 - the hotel is nice and adequate for stay, only little imperfections that can be fixed in few minutes (wrong light bulbs in bathroom, paint streaks on door...)

FinlandThe location was very suspicious in a warehouse area. There were groups of men hanging around the hotel entrance smoking pot and just generally looking like company you don’t want to be around. As an adult couple we managed and the hotel room was surprisingly tidy and fresh but I do not recommend this place with kids! We left in the morning as soon as we woke up.
