Great Location. Decor in common areas were very nice. The room was spacious. Nice bar for evening drink.Everything was very clean. Breakfest was ok start for the day.Once we found the parking it was OK just little ways from hotel.

Beds were hard, pillows difficult -- but then, I'm American. Seems to be pretty typical for German hotels.

That is a wonderful hotel situated really in the center, just three steps from the cable car. We really enjoy our night there. Very nice room, small, but you have everything that you need for one or two nights. Recommended.

I wish I had known we had to walk up 13 stairs to get to the lift. My 92yo mother has difficulty with stairs and there was no way getting around that for her. We managed, but this was very difficult. The other issue was with breakfast. I asked the night before about the timing for breakfast as we had to leave at 7am. Breakfast started at 7:30 and there was no way for them to accommodate us, not to-go bröchen, no to-go coffee, no early seating, nothing they could do. When we came down in the morning to load out, the dining room was open as they were setting up. I asked again if we could get some to-go items, but was told no and she closed the door on me. Should I have gotten a discount on the room then? No, no discount either. I'm on the fence with this hotel and hoping it was just a fluke.

The location on the main "high" street of the old town in Rudesheim was exceptional. The rooms were small, but clean, the beds were comfortable but thin, and as an older hotel there was no A/C but the windows opened so all was fine. We did not get to sample the breakfast as we had an early flight out of Frankfurt so cannot review that.

The hotel is designed with stairs that will take you to the elevator. This was not practical specifically if you have heavy luggage.

The staff were super friendly and professional. They gave us recommendations and extended their support whenever we requested. Our room had a charming view on the vineyards in the area. The hiking trails and lifts to the monument are next to the hotel. The location is a short walk from Drosselgasse, a nice narrow street in Rudesheim with many restaurants.

wine cellar. we went during the open hours. the worker did not greet us or ask if he could help us. did not seem like a German wine place due to the other language other than German being display. was very disappointed and walked out. this could be a real neat place if properly ran.

Lift out of service and had to carry luggage up 3 flight of stairs. No kettle or cups in room but reception happy to accommodate filling flask with hot water and providing a cup.

Friendly staff, location in town - walking distance to train station and next to cable car station, buffet breakfast with hot food (scramble eggs, bacon, sausage patties, baked beans)

The pillows were disappearing when you lie your head on them. Way too soft to be able to have a good night rest. There was only one liquid soap in the bathtoom that we kept on moving between shower and sink. The bottle said: hand and hair but I would not recommend for hair.

There is an elevator to the rooms, you just needed to climb one flight of stairs to get there.

The location was perfect, right in the middle of town, only 10 minutes walk from the train station, directly next to the cable car and 2 minutes walk from the Drosselgasse. The reception was very friendly and check in went smooth. The room was large and comfortable, with a good bathroom attached. Breakfast was relatively basic, but good, and they were willing to think along for other possibilities if you had to leave too early (luckily I could still stay for breakfast). The hotel looks great from the outside, fits right into the old town.
