Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

- Great location for a pitstop while travelling by train (and you can even spot the hotel whilst still inside the station). - 15 minute walk down a straight road to Marienplatz. - Room was clean with everything you’d expect and bed was comfy. - Everything I wanted was available at breakfast.

JapanThere was nothing in particular although the air conditioning - which worked fine - was a little dated compared to the systems I am used to using.
Being a stone's throw from the station and central Munich the location is second to none. The hotel has a nostalgic charm with period features that add to the atmosphere, and the breakfast area was particularly welcoming and the choice and quality of food was excellent. The room was very comfortable and located in a corner at the rear of the hotel so there was no noise at all which was perfect as it meant a very good night's sleep after a long journey.

AustraliaThe hotel is directly across from the main train station which is very convenient. The area itself is a little "rough" but within a few minutes walk there is the centre of the city.
The room was spacious and clean. The hotel itself was full of character and the breakfast was awesome. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Then even offered to give us a takeaway breakfast as we had to check out early to catch the plane - never ever had that before.

United StatesThe breakfast was pretty expensive and crowded. Not a lot of options and they often ran out. Had to ask multiple times for coffee before it was brought out. Men at the front desk in the morning were not as friendly as the afternoon/evening staff.
Great location! Easy to walk to many areas. Local transportation was very close by. The rooms were a great size and the AC was wonderful after a hot day site seeing. The lady checking us in was super friendly! The Lufthansa express was a block away, very convenient.

Hotel is in the really nice location. It’s just on the border of being outdated and modern but I think it’s really good value for money and the deal with the parking garage is amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel for any visit to Munich as it’s accessible by car and public transportation
