Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomRoom was small and our twin beds were touching each other even though we'd requested that they be separated. (Strange configuration - surely most friends or relatives who are happy to share a room don't actually want to sleep within touching distance?!) - Surrounded by building work although it was quiet at night. Room very hot even with windows open. Arrived back at 10pm to find coffee machine off and there is no kettle in room so couldn't get a hot drink.

Pleasant hotel, location is excellent, a short walk from the railway station and the sites: cathedral, art gallery, museums and the Rhine. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Rooms have a safe.

Front desk team was outstanding. Very helpful. The rooms were highly maintained - clean. I did forget about the fact of no air-conditioning, however, the windows open all the way and comfortable in the evening, especially during this hot unusual weather.

United StatesThe lack of AC in the room meant that hot August days were quite uncomfortable. Open windows meant outdoor noise when I most wanted to rest (church bells, loud people smoking outside late at night).
Location near the Dom and Hbf was ideal for getting around Cologne. Koelnmesse was a 20 minute walk from the hotel across the bridge. Having a great restaurant as part of the hotel was a reason I wanted to book here, and Fruh am Dom did not disappoint.

The location is very good. It takes ten minutes from the main train station by walking with luggage, passing by the Dom. It's not far away to walk to the riverside and the Chocolate Museum too. Around the hotel there are many shops and restaurants. The hotel has an elevator. It's easy for carrying heavy luggage. The room is nice and quiet. Breakfast is good. The restaurant in front of the hotel seems popular, and we have lunch there. When we drove the car to take luggage, it is convenient to park the car for 5-10 minutes on the narrow route of the hotel.

United StatesI did not realize I booked this hotel without AC for a trip in the summer. The room was very warm. I requested a fan and it helped somewhat. However, there is a strong sewage smell throughout the hotel that concentrated in the room while away since there is no airflow. The breakfast is €18 and is nothing special. Provides the typical German spread.
