Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I have a lot of experience in staying at City Centre Hotels and understand that there are constraints to running a Hotel in such places. I though this hotel dealt with it all very well and would like to stay there again when I get the chance.
The room was a nice size for a city centre hotel and very clean. The bathroom and shower were all clean and modern. Breakfast was extra but very nice indeed and worth the price. The staff were all friendly and very pleasant. The location was perfect which is why I chose it in the first place.

SwedenRoom was filthy and incredibly hot. The room was not cleaned properly and the toilet was not even flushed after the previous guest!! We arrived late in the evening so we told the staff the next morning about finding poop in the toilet upon arrival but did not recieve an apology or any discount or anything really. Before we arrived we also recieved a scam message in the Booking app from this hotel, and when we told them they said it was not them but they did not apologise or send out any warnings.
Breakfast was good, and some staff was friendly.

United StatesNo air conditioning, no breez with open windows but noise all night long from the roads that pass by the hotel and underneath the main train station. Impossible to sleep. The beds are just about twin size, the carpet old, the fridge extra tiny.
The location is perfect, the central train station is within view and reach. You can also get to a nearby shopping area with restaurants and grocery stores.

GreeceThe most serious shortcoming on behalf of the hotel is cleanliness. Unfortunately hygiene is the number one priority when assessing hotels and it overrules all luxury and facilities. It is a relatively cheaper property but that makes for no excuse when it comes to hygiene. The room was not meticulously cleaned and had old toilet paper, a borderline clean floor, a dirty fridge and a questionably cleaned bathroom. Additionally, they forgot to provide us with 2 full body towels (2 person room) and instead gave us hand towels.
Location was very nice right in the city centre and next to the Train Station.
