10 min car ride away from Westerland center, meaning you couldn’t easily access other restaurants or activities.

I was a bit sceptical as the TUI Blue Sylt seemed like one of those bigger holiday-house conglomeration for mass tourism. However, I was very positively surprised, the in- and outdoor facilities were very good. The staff overall was very friendly and welcoming. The apartments were large (we had a two-level apartment) with comfy beds, very good kitchen and bathroom facilities and a balcony. The sauna was very close by and very good as well. The cherry on top was the breakfast, buffet, but so many choices and all very tasty and partly even freshly prepared before your eyes. The same goes for dinner, which we had to book additionally (more on the expensive side), but also buffet with many very tasty choices. The hotel area is very close to the beach, which is great for an early morning or evening swim. A local bus stops about 50 meters from the hotel area. Last but not least, we also used the bike rental facility at the hotel, which was very good as well (good bikes, E-bikes, for an ok price, and friendly rental guy). Would come again.

Only issue was the understaff personnel. Team was clearly under stress due to lack of people, specially for restaurant & breakfast. No room service could be improved as well.

Amazing place, nice rooms (apartments), swimming pool clean, modern and large. Location is very good with nice beach next to the hotel and a lot of activities to do.

We expected to have coffee sachets and creamer like usually provided in any 4star hotel but that was not there. Probably since there was a kitchen, they expected the guest to carry these on their own.

The staff was exceptional! We had a few items to claim and everything was fixed within minutes. The location is great right at the Rantum Pond. Great place to walk, run or ride your bike.

Toilet amenities were lacking a bit. The hand, body and hair soap wasn't that great for hair actually. A separate shampoo would've been great. But these things can be added easily.

-only one bathrobe/one pair of slippers in a room booked for 3 guests -check-out time by 10am -not enough kids' bikes available for rental -service during dinner, long wait until we could order drinks, tables were not cleaned properly after guests had left, food pieces scattered on neighbouring tables and floor

The pool could have been improved. It seemed very yellow and there was not that much space to swim as "grown-ups". The gap between the double bed was a bit annoying.

The spa was great. Food buffets were great.

It is quite a bit pricey compared with other locations, but well, that is just Sylt. You pay for being on that island.

We really liked the facilities. It was a very welcoming and quiet place. If you'd come with children, there is a lot to do, too, but it's clearly a more quiet area. Great for bringing dogs, too!

The sofa could be a bit more comfortable and it would be lovely to have a real armchair. Some of the dishes were dirty but I’d blame that on whoever stayed at the apartment before us.

Staff were extremely helpful and all around lovely. The apartments were small but have all you need. The pool is fantastic.

Reservation at the Restaurant could have been given preference for those staying at the hotel. We did not know it was not possible after 2pm. We did not get a reservation at the restaurant in the night for dinner , but it was ok as we could walk into the Bar to have food and drinks.

Loved the location, easy access to food items to cook if you want to, very clean and comfortable apartment, lovely outdoor seating area in the apartment, great choice of eating at the Bar or at the Restaurant or at the Village. The Bar was a great place to sit out and have food and drinks. The morning buffet breakfast at the restaurant was very good. Overall a wonderful stay and great outdoors and location. Loved staying at the hotel and would love to come back again !

Value for money - it is really expensive and the italian restaurant at the site was not very good.

It has everything you need and you do not really have to leave the facility - spa, swimming, restaurant and lcose to the beach. Public transportant is not far away so you have access to the whole island.

The staff insisted to settle all the extras on the morning of our departure instead of upon arrival or the evening before departure... it took a bit long to check out at a moment when we were under time pressure to take our train.

The apartments are very comfortable and quite well furnished. The sea is accessible via a 5 to 10 minute walk. The pool is ok and the spa is great. The overall location is very beautiful, preserved and quiet. Perfect for families. Fair dining and drinking options offered on site. Also possible to dine every day in the apartment.
