There is one issue with the location.. Although the spot on the river bank is very nice, it's quite far away from the center and train station (about 30 minuets walk). So if you don't have a car, take this under consideration since there is no public transportation going there either

Pleasant location on the river bank. Very quiet, clean, sympathetic staff, nice facilities. We really liked the frog pond!

Internet connection was terrible and cannot be acceptable. Even the fast connection was unstable.

The hotel location is in a very efficient district. Easy to travel Altstadt area. I drive EV car and hotel has a free parking space which is eligible for charging the car. This is a big plus.

Location for accessibility. The place itself is a wonderful labyrinth and the room was excellent

Staff is a little odd. Bar was closed whole week if you wanted to drink something else other than beer...

It was a little way out of Koblenz, we had to get a taxi into the centre and then it was difficult to find a taxi to get back (it was raining). Air conditioner didn’t work

Beds were comfortable. Kitchenette with fridge and microwave in the single room was useful although there was no crockery or cutlery except for a coffee cup.

When the weather is hot they should run the air conditioner before guests arrive.

Great location at a path along the Mosella for a nice walk or bike ride. In August 2024?a new public pool is scheduled to open next to the hotel. For $18 per person extra they have a great breakfast buffet. Good parking.

Expensive Breakfast was additional €16-18 pp. expensive - 24 hour McDonald’s 10 only mins away A shower without a curtain or screen - stupid. Bathroom gets soaked Why provide only 1 pillow per person?

The air conditioning is centrally controlled, supposedly coming on every couple of hours to cool the rooms. Not sure it did while we were there… our room was uncomfortably hot the whole time. Wouldn’t stay here in the summer

Quirky hotel with a retro feel and a nice beer garden to relax in. The underground parking is good if you can get in… we couldn’t the first night, but the reception guys allowed us to leave our car in the drop-off zone, so it was fine

The restaurant for dinner was closed. Only the Biergarten was open until 9 pm. Only selfservice for drinks and simple food. Even the food and meals you had to transport yourself. A lack of employees so they say.

the room (double room, perfect for a couple) was VERY clean, and the staff was very nice as already reported by other customer. You can park on the street, you can park on the hotel's smaller parking lot (there are chargers for electric cars), or you can park underground. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but we saw its restaurant is big. We would/will definitely return. It was not cheap, but fair. Cost/benefit was very good.

Check in / out is slow.

Good value for money in terms size and room amenities. Staff are polite and friendly. Worthy of paying for breakfast which is delicious with good choices. Free parking is a merit.

Started streaming the gardens at 7am

Located on the banks of the Mosel River and within a 15 minute walk into the Alt Staat. The room was large and exceptionally clean. Restaurant staff very friendly and menu was good, as was the food.

The internet was supposed to cover all areas, but did not cover the rooms, looks like they want you to go downstairs to the beer garden to drink and do internet if needed. I did not like that, I need my internet for reading the morning news.

Hotel that had the "holiday in the south" feeling, although it was not on the beach. Nice relaxing and spacious with a large beer garden area incl. a lake.

Clean, well presented and comfortable. The staff are welcoming and willing to assist. Good underground parking with separate walled bays, felt my motorcycle was safe in there. You get lucky bags with treats if you decide not to have room cleaning each morning. Easy walk down the Moselle river path into town.

Great facilities for parking and safe storage of the bicycles. Good location towards the centre, easy to walk. Overall we had a good stay.

The hotel staff was very responsive.. And I got an upgrade as well. The space was large, clean, comfy and the breakfast was quite extensive. I would recommend Contel Hotel if you are ever in Koblenz.

A lot of building work going on around the vicinity of hotel. Hotel itself queit and peaceful Patio door did not open
