Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyWe arrived tired in the e d of the day from our trip. The person at the reception desk immediately told us that our reservation had been partially cancelled. I went back 10 mins later after checkin with the documents to confirm that I had received the confirmation and payed for the Weekend . He was not friendly, took a long time to check the documents and only showed me a piece of paper almost yelling. I understand that mistakes happen, but politeness and cordiality first!

United KingdomOn the website it said that the hotel has a parking lot, they made us park on the street and we also paid €5 city tax. We were told that they have a parking lot 500 meters away from the hotel, but they were going to give us the code the next morning, when we were already leaving.

TurkeyThe room wasn’t clean. There was hair in the shower drain. Comforter had a clean upper sheet but the comforter itself was very dirty. The room had terrible lights. Three of them didn’t work and the one working was very dim. We had to use phone’s flashlight at night. The lift was out of order, we had to climb 4 floors with heavy luggage. Overall, the room looks so much better in the pictures, doesn’t match with the reality.

Spainthere was a bad smell coming from the toilet also the bed has a strange smell, when I wake up, I saw the real color of the blanket and pillows very dirty, as much as I want not to be mean with the cement I think it’s important to share my experience, also breakfast was nothing there was not bread, when I arrived I had to wait 35 min to check in, I’m always traveling and rarely I do a review like this, but after paying 140€ per one night no worth at all, the guy at the reception was nice though!

GermanyRoom was an absolute catastrophe, we could not shut the door properly, back window looked onto a trash pile. TV did not work, remote control had batteries. When we asked about the remote the desk clerk indicated that the cleaning personnel would have a look the next day. The pictures we saw of the property looked nothing like the actual property. I strongly recommend staying away from this place.

Germany- The main entrance didn't have a lift or wheelchair accessibility so we had to carry up our heavy luggage. - The keys to the room are huge and heavy. - The pictures of the property are nothing like what it is in real life. - The carpet is the same outside, inside and on stairs and isn't clean. - Carpet, chairs and curtains are the sort of busy colour to not see dirt as easily, like what you get on public transport and you could see they haven't been cleaned well for a long time. - The room itself was cleaned but not deep cleaned. A lot of areas with dust, and mould. Especially in the bathroom, felt really uncomfortable to shower surrounded by mould spots on the wall. - The walls are not isolated at all, we could hear everything from the room next to us, even normal level conversations. - The bed mattress is a spring one, as we haven't slept on one like this in a long time we could really feel as if we were sleeping on the metal springs directly. - The staff at the end didn't ask how our stay was, so we weren't even able to give this review directly to them.
There was a lot of space in the room and the location of the hotel was close to the city centre. This is why we booked a hotel in that area. The included breakfast was good enough given the price we paid for the room. Locker room available to leave your luggage

CanadaThe shower tub in the room was too deep and a little bit risky for small person or little kids. When stepping out you have to grip to the walll for your feet to touch the ground.
Very good place. Very clean. Staff was exceptional, very nice. The breakfast was what you could expect. Will book again if traveling in the city.

IndiaOur stay was highly disappointing. The heating did not work for our entire stay there, we were freezing is such cold weather. We complained twice about the issue but no action was taken. The guy at the reception named Khalid was the the first one to know about it. Not only he didn’t do anything about it, he did not even bother to inform the employee at the next shift about the the issue, the only thing he informed was that we have 3 damn glasses and a plate, highly unprofessional. No intercom in the room, he gave us a number to call in case of any issue, but no one ever answered that one. Since we did not sleep all night in the cold, we asked for an extra hour after the checkout time, and oh boy they made such a huge issue about it. He was asking us for €20 if we wanted 30 mins longer, calling it a motivation to let us stay. The rooms were okay in terms of cleanliness and the location was good but apart from that it was a such a huge disappointment. Never going back ever!! 🥵
