Modern amenities were a little behind the times. The TV was very small and the wifi was very slow. The shower was also very small. If you don’t care about these things and are more interested in a beautiful and rustic setting, then this is the place for you.

Really great and historic location with a fantastic staff. Breakfast was excellent and we had an amazing view from the balcony in our suite.

It was a majestic hotel at the heart of a majestic city! We will always remember the friendly and kind people who work there, especially the wonderful gentleman in the reception! Always there, always ready to welcome you, answer questions, do everything possible to help you no matter what time it is! Absolute nothing!!!!!

We were first greeted by such a darling gentleman, who is the owner, dressed in his suit and tie. He was such a kind man and told us since they had had a last minute cancellation, they would move us to some upgraded rooms. Let me tell you, the rooms were beautiful, classy and adorable, with the most amazing views!!!! The breakfast was so delicious with many options and fresh food. Our stay here was exceptional!!! Thank you for making our stay so memorable. Your kindness and hospitality, not to mention your hotel, were all above and beyond what we ever expected. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!!!!!

We loved visiting Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Lots of tourists there, but that is because it is a fun place to visit. The Burghotel was lovely - the staff was so nice; our room was stunningly beautiful; breakfast was wonderful. We will go back, we hope!

Nothing. Each detail was considered. A first class location. Run by people that really enjoy what they do. From parking to the breakfast our experience could not be beat.

What a wonderful experience. We stayed at this beautiful hotel for just one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The entire hotel felt like a true German Inn. The views of the surrounding area were breath breathtaking. The staff could not have been nicer and the room was perfect. I highly recommend staying at the Burg Hotel. Cannot say enough nice things !

Really nice hotel right in the old town. Breakfast was good, with a wonderful view. Staff very friendly, especially Otto. Parking available, the drive to the hotel was a bit tricky as some of the cobbled roads are very narrow.

No elevator which if you have heavy luggage and are on the top floor is a challenge (or if climbing stairs is an issue). Top floor room was warm. There was a AC floor unit in the room but it was very noisy.
