Very little space above my head in the bed.

It was a cozy hostel and we got what we expected. Free coffee in the morning, the massage chair, as well as the well-equipped kitchen were all pluses.

We had the room on the bottom floor and unfortunately, if there was any noise outside the door, we heard everything. We always have ear plugs with us, but sometimes it was still bothersome. They also did some painting in the hallway the first morning right outside our door and we could hear every brushstroke. It would have been nice to be notified about that beforehand.

Location, beds, kitchen, sitting area, free coffee in the mornings, great communication, and easy to check in.

Bathrooms need a makeover, electronic access system is a pain in the as$, and this is a party area, so you will not likely sleep very well (though that is not hostel's fault, seems young germans have zero respect for others trying to rest). When you book a room to yourself, they give you a bunkbed anyway so it is super cramped. Could be great for two friends traveling, but awkward for a couple perhaps.

I think it's good for St Pauli, hard to beat on price, nice cheerful decor, good social area, free coffee is a nice touch, could be a great value for a couple friends.

Firm bunk bed mattresses, but that's a personal issue.

Got upgraded to a larger room with a private bathroom, so that was nice. Thanks! Also liked the free coffee in the morning. Surprisingly quiet for being so close to the party on Reeperbahn.

For the price nothing can be better

It was quiet, the room had a fridge and TV, and despite the description stating that the shower and toilet are on the floor, the facilities were in the room. The bed was a triple bunk, and you had to make it yourself. There's a small kitchen available for general use. The street was quiet and clean, which can't be said for the surrounding area. Keyless access, we didn’t even see any staff for two days.

Very hospitable, we were able to store our luggage there for the whole day after check out, we enjoyed piano in the common area the most.

- Towels are not provided for free (we knew it beforehand and brought our own but it is still a hassle) - The door lock system was rather retro but it was fine once you know how it works

- For two people, we got 9 people dorm to ourselves, en suite in the room - There were enough equipment utensils in the shared kitchen - self-check-in - clean and quiet

Location is close to main sightseeing and despite being close to Reeperbahn, you do not feel any noise, as it is in other much quieter street. Free coffee each morning and pleasant workers.

Because we were on the ground floor right next to the kitchen and very close to the other communal areas it was quite loud at certain times but with earplugs it didn't disturb my sleep too much.

The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious and the private bathroom was a bonus (we booked a twin bunk room but got a larger room with a bathroom, maybe because we were there in the off season?). The room allocation was very appreciated on arrival. The fridge in the room was also incredibly helpful, the cooking facilities were great, the free tea and coffee in the morning was also lovely. The location was good, a bit of a walk into the city if you wanted to venture that way but not far on the metro. We explored a lot around the hostel too, lots of things to see close by.

Everything was super efficient and easy! The staff was great, very friendly and fast replies. The facilities are well equipped and the fact there are lockers to store our things after the checkout was very helpful!

I hadn’t realised it was in St. Pauli, but it was quiet, and we had no trouble.

Good value for money. Close to the train station. Close to several tourist attractions. It was an hour long walk into the main city centre. We were given a family room which was comfortable and spacious. There was free coffee every morning and a kitchen to use. Maps and information available. Checking codes worked without any dramas.
