The one thing I would say is that we could have been warned about the steep stairs. When you have a toddler, it’s one of those things you usually avoid.

Absolutey AMAZING! Location could not be better. We were 2 minutes away from the bridge and from loads of amazing little restaurants around the old town, and it took us less than 10 minutes to get to the cable car that takes you to the castle. The room was also incredible! We had a 1.5 year-old with us, so it was great to have a fridge/microwave/etc available. Shower was great and the bed was extremelly comfortable. And considering we got 33° celsius, air conditioning was spot on!!

Stairs. , no lift. We mis read the prooerty facilities as not highlighted and expected down stairs as property had garden area. Guests should be advised there is a steep narrow staircase when booking to avoid any problems, We were an older couple with heavy cases. Luckily we had our daughter travelling with us to help us up the stairs with our luggage. Kitchen area, seating at table impossible as too tiny an area to sit and table top wobbles.

Need to share that staircases are very narrow and rather steep - be careful when taking luggage upstairs. In Unit 5, look at shower, as lots of water splashes outside the area, unnecessary waste. Can you also add a curtain to the window facing the castle (to block morning light in summer) - have the same as the window facing the river.

Stairs. We were on the top floor. Great view of both the castle and the bridge, but four sets of steep steps to get up there. Not a room to stop many times during the day despite the excellent location. The bathroom can get wet if you are not careful. The ceiling is low for a tall person.

The internet did not work at all during our whole stay. I contacted the host but there was no improvement at all, although he responded quickly. The hair drier was not at all good, very loud but did not dry my hair very well. The bathroom does not have a proper place for even one person's cosmetics.

The location is perfect! The view from the apartment is wonderful! It's easy to get the key and the host corresponds very quickly. The shower is fabulous!

First of all, the room and location is incredible. However, the room is on 4th floor and there is not any elevator. So, we needed to carry our quite heavy luggages for 4 floors from the very narrow stairs and next day we had to carry them down. I did not realize that there was not any elevator when booking the room so I think this must be mentioned everywhere. Also, the minibar was empty. I think the minibar should contain some priced snacks or drinks if the room is this hard to reach. At least a bottle of water or anything else can be treated. Or there may be a vending machine in the ground floor to provide the guests some drincks or snacks.

The room was perfect. It had amazing view on both sides, you could see the river and the castle. The room on the top floor is probably on of the best view points of Heidelberg. Additionally, the toom was warm, comfortable, clean and pretty. The apartment is very well located. I added some beautiful view photos from the room's windows.

Doors/windows - bathroom, bedroom & wardrobe doors stuck on the floor, some handles were a little loose on windows. Marks - there was some staining on the bedroom wall that looked like someone had dropped some liquid & it splashed the wall

Location - near the old bridge, castle, high street. Right on the river with a lovely view from the living space. Space/layout - large bedroom and comfortable bed, large shower, large living space with sofa bed (great for relaxing too).

The stairs are a little steep, definitely a workout going up and down them each day. There was some staining on the wall in the bedroom, majority of the doors between rooms and the wardrobe doors, stuck on the floor. Kitchen is small, enough to get by if you wish to cook, there is no oven but a microwave & hob. I did message the host once to confirm some details but never had a reply. Overall nothing major wrong with the place.

The location was great, right next to the old bridge so the view is lovely, as is the little patio area out the back. The castle and high street are also nearby which is convenient though I would avoid Excelsior. The bed was comfortable though the duvet and pillows kept coming out of the cases, shower is a great size with large shower head, water pressure could be better. Sofa is comfortable, we pulled it out into a bed to lounge on while watching TV one evening, was lovely. Overall a lovely apartment to stay in, had no trouble while there and walked to anywhere nearby we needed to go.

Overhead lighting required more instructions than we were provided.

The location was in the heart of Old Town, a short walk to the Alt Brucke and Marktplatz. Buses took us from and to the Hauptbahnhof. The bed was comfortable and the mini frig was a bonus.

Communication was terrible, located on the 4th floor with very steep narrow winding steps so I wouldn’t recommend booking that one. Disappointing since the suite on the second floor was empty for the entirety of our stay as would of been nice of the property to offer as an option and goodwill. Only half a roll of toilet paper left in suite and no hand soap/gel left in bottle at vanity. No response to my message sent regarding this. Mould in the shower and view is from a tiny window in the loft. It’s unfortunate as these few little things could easily have been avoided and made our stay a 10.

We were 4 flights up, and the stairs were small and steep. It was challenging even with small luggage. The beams in the room were low, so we hit our heads a lot at first. The bed was hard, but that's a personal preference.
