We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

The main railway station is located within a walking distance. In other words, the location of the hotel is optimal, especially when travelling by train. The overall level of cleanliness of the room was good. Having a small kitchenette in the room was superb.

This hotel had everything I needed for a ten day stay. My room ( Studio45) was huge with two windows in studio room and two in the bathroom. so plenty of air and light. the kitchen facilities were very useful, esp since there is a Penny Markt supermarket two doors down so I could prepare small meals instead of eating out every day. The location is excellent. 5-10 minutes walk to all parts of the shopping centre. There are many good restaurants in Mannheim, too, within easy walk. The laundry is easy to use! The bed is very comfortable and the shower good and hot. I would highly recommend it.

United KingdomThere were no instructions on how to use the safe which resulted in our passports and other things being locked in. However, when notified the on-site staff were able to resolve this quickly. The cooker and oven are quite sophisticated pieces of equipment but there are no written instructions on how to use them. I informed the hotel by message of a significant issue in the apartment on the evening we arrived. It could have been resolved within an hour or two on the Monday morning but it was only dealt with three days later when I told them that I would deal with directly it if they didn't.
My wife and I have stayed in the Boarding House before and have always enjoyed it. We had a booking last year which was affected by the pandemic and we found them to be very flexible and supportive in initially changing the booking and when, sadly, we had to cancel it. As a special treat we took a penthouse on this visit and found the apartment to be spacious, comfortable and very well equipped with excellent views to the wasserturm meeting all our needs and expectations. We arrived when the reception was unmanned but the instructions for getting the key from the lockbox were sent well in advance and entry was uneventful.
