The mattresses on the beds were covered in plastic, and covered only by a sheet. We could feel the plastic underneath, it was not comfortable, reminded me of a plastic card used for children’s mattresses. When I inquired why, they said they wash the Mattresses, to keep them pristine. I understand, but still uncomfortable.

Wonderful location, beautifully maintained Property. Extremely old-fashioned, but that’s what we wanted. I especially loved the automatic front door

Nothing really but being picky we were on the top floor and there was no lift. Understandable though in such a property. Perhaps a bit of help with luggage for older visitors might be in order ?

Beautiful period property with themed rooms and a pleasant garden. Large suite with great shower and comfortable bed. Quiet so we slept well. The staff were exceptional, very helpful and always available. The breakfast was very good. Parking right outside the entrance with security cameras, Great location with short walk to main attractions" Would return !

Sink and shower didn't drain very well

This is an old mansion that was refurbished. You feel like royalty in this hotel, and are treated that way by the staff. They have an afternoon tea/pastries, and of course breakfast. The hotel is in easy walking distance of most of the attractions of the town.

Air-conditioning didn’t work, the nights were quite hot the top of the building, but nevertheless this is a fantastic place to stay

A shame that the hotel doesn’t do lunch or dinner, preferring to refer guests to the neighbouring associate hotel where elegant dining is excellent at reasonable prices

It’s the most beautiful exquisite house in its own gorgeous gardens right in the centre of the town. Elegant and spotlessly maintained. Staff are a joy The rooms are elegant and comfortable

The 56 steps up to the room are not ideal for elderly people. So this has to be forewarned.

It was all great. Some of the staff could have been a little kinder - the young one who seemed gruff and not helpful. But beyond him we loved the staff !

We loved our stay here and would love to return! Kind staff, very peaceful, lovely garden, the rooms were great.

The pillows were not good.

The stuff was very friendly and very helpful to book train tickets, taxi , etc The bed was comfortable . Breakfast was OK. Could have been better with more Joice of fruits and cheeses

A/C did not work well, and for an upper end hotel, it should. A restaurant would be nice.

Very upscale boutique hotel, comprehensive breakfast, nice staff, good location a short distance walking from the main center, very large, comfortable room (we were in a superior room).

Breakfast on first morning was excellent. Following 2 mornings breakfast trays were not replenished and we had to ask staff for many items. The shower In bathroom required updated. Shutters on balcony did not close, woke very early each morning with sunrise. We were not aware on booking that we would not stay in the main hotel. We were placed in the annexe. The annexe felt more like an apartment and not the quality hotel we were expecting to stay in. Only visit to hotel was for breakfast.

Free bottled water in room would be nice. Tea/coffee in room would be nice. I felt like a peppermint tea at night and was charged 8 euros!!! Many hotels have this free in your room.

You have to pay for parking, you can park for 24 hours. The most hotels in Germany charge for parking. I guess this is something you have to accept.

Location in the central Baden-Baden, close to the famous Spas.I loved the room- art deco with paintings,every room in a different style. Breakfast in a very stillish/posh room or garden with sparkling vine if you wish.

The breakfast is average. Skip it and eat outside if you can. Also, there are no elevators (obviously) so if you are lazy like me, then that might be a problem for you haha

The property is astonishingly beautiful! It gives very English country side, Bridgerton type vibes. The location is phenomenal and you are walking distance from all key attractions. The staff is very polite and helpful, special mention for Mike Kemper who went out of his way to help us! My favorite part was their garden and fountain, you will never forget you morning breakfast in the garden here!

Just a tiny thing - the air conditioning kept rattling in one of the rooms. Just a little update would make the hotel perfect.

This such a charming beautiful hotel. So unique and felt like a private villa. The staff were wonderful. Highly recommend!

The cost of the car for 1 day was excessive. I think that it should have been included in the rate.

The room was very spacious and, while from a Belle Epoque was very tastefully done. I very much liked the wooden floors and the jacuzzi. The breakfast was very extensive and included in the price. Very comfy bed !

No welcome water, in our room was not comfortable bathtub, the rest very good.

Good location, comfortable bed, breakfast on amazing beautiful terrace. Comfortable parking for 24 euro per day.
