No aircon might be inconvenient in hot weather. Limited parking options, but who needs a car in Berlin?

Location in a suburb I am familiar with. Very pleasant for walking any time of the day and night, good transport options, hip...but eating out is relatively expensive. Spoilt for choice of bakeries for breakfast nearby. Room was all right, recently renovated older hotel. Everything clean, tidy. Staff very polite and helpful.

The hotel has no parking place, but we were lucky enough to find a free slot on the street just in front of the building. We decided to leave our car there as it was weekend and it was cheaper to pay for the hourly parking fee as the whole days in the parking house. The other little thing that was a bit disturbing was the automatic light in the room and its switch panel was blinking during next to the bed during the night - so we just covered it :D

The hotel is very stylish, in a calm and nice quarter of Berlin. The room was comfortable despite its small size. It is well equipped, we got also a travel bed for our toddler. The bathroom was also spacious enough and very clean. We had also heating that was very pleasent in those cold april days in Berlin. The hotel has also a living-room like lobby where you can get a free coffee/tee and have some cosy time while your child is sleeping in the room. Although we didn't meet the staff, they were extrem helpful as we left there a book and they were kind enough to find it and send it to us via DHL.

The exhaust fan in my bathroom was incredibly loud, I didn't feel at peace to take a long bath.

The bed was comfortable. The shower was excellent. I was very pleased to know that reception offered me early check in as per my request. I really enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee that was offered throughout the day.

The online check-in link in e-mail didn't work and I had to request it again. The breakfast is poor. No luggage storage. Room has no additional extras that are usually in hotels, e.g., no kettle or glass in the room. If you want to drink something, you should get hot water and paper cup from the coffee machine downstairs.

They don't offer the luggage storage within the hotel. You need to store your luggage in their office. It is about 15 mins work. However, the staff were nice to look after our luggage even on Sunday.

Although they don't have physical reception, the check in and access were smooth. The place is quite and the coffee machine is available during the day.

The pillows were not good quality and probably old. Room could have had a small refrigerator. Outdoor smokers table was directly under my window so if there was a smoker below, the smoke would come into my room.

Room was well located and easy to access. I liked that it was all automated and keyless. The room was exceptionally clean. It was on a quiet street but close to transport. Administration were quick to respond to any questions via email.

The check-in was a bit complicated, cause I got the message with the code one hour later, after the online check-in, at almost 4 p.m. Finding my room was a bit of a hassle, cause my room had the number 210, but it was in the first upper floor, what I found out later, not second. Tried taking the elevator until the 2nd floor, just to find out that it takes you only in the 2,3 th floor, where the 300, 400 something rooms are. The first floor is only accessible by stairs. Not a problem for me, but might be if you have mobility impairments. For the money, I expected a bit more from the room. The bathroom door needs replaced (see pics), the sensor that turns on the lights when you enter your room worked also during the night and every time I turned or moved in my bed, the lights turned on, waking me up. I wrote a message and shared the problem; it was said that they will come and fix it. When I came back in my room in the evening, there was just a piece of cardboard taped infront of the sensor(pic available again). I laughed so hard. At least they were fast and creative, I give them that. The hair dryer works a few minutes(3?) then stops. I could not get my hair completely dry.

The size of the room is good and the position is ok, 600 m away from the U2 station. There are plenty of places to eat in the neighbourhood. The lounge area in the ground level is great. Relaxing music and water, tea, coffee at your disposal, all day long. There is also a small garden with a table and 2 seats outside, when you want to sit outside. The ironing board and iron, umbrella were a nice touch. It was really useful the 3rd day of my staying, when it rained all day long.
