Had breakfast every morning on the balcony. The bakery and a small shop are just outside of the hotel, it can even be reached directly from the hotel staircase. The staff is great. They even provided us with separate invoices upon request without any hassle.

The apartment hotel is located in very pleasant place, near most of Leipzig attractions. The rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet. Even at winter time there was enough heat in the apartment. There are many utensils in the kitchen.

The lights in the room took some figuring out. In the end we had a good laugh about it though so not really a complaint.

Great location and parking near by. Although we ended up going with a cheaper parking spot than the one that was recommended by the hotel. The room was comfortable and had enough space for our group. Very close to old town, and many restaurants. Staff was very helpful! I'll stay here again if I come back to Leipzig.

Husband struggled with the soft bed (I was fine). The bedroom itself was very small so it got hot although a good fan was provided (which our daughter nabbed).

Great location! Right by the square in a lovely old apartment block. Bakery and organic grocery shop immediately downstairs were fabulous. Apartment itself was functional, well kitted out for kitchen stuff, clean and good value for money. Good towels and a powerful shower.

Signage could be better… My German is a bit rusty but having BINS on the door to the lift did not help… we discovered the lift on day 2 after carrying our luggage up 4 flights of curved stairs. The icon for a lift is universal and doesn’t need a translation. There was no-one on staff at the weekend. We were given a code and instructions that were a bit confusing and took a while to figure out… We went looking twice in the basement for the bins to put rubbish but couldn’t locate them so had to bring the rubbish back to the apartment.

Location was excellent - almost in the centre of Leipzig and only a few minutes walk from everywhere… would stay here again. Plenty of room in the apartment. Supermarket is close by. We found a gorgeous restaurant off the square that served gluten free food (Barfusz) with fab staff. The panorama tower is definitely worth a visit as well for a birds eye view of the city!

One of the reception staff (older lady with blonde hair) was extremely rude to us as soon as we arrived asking me if I could read because the key had another name on it but was in the lock box number they gave us and then basically argued with me that we should have come to the office as they were there till 6pm even though they sent a message saying if we arrived after 5pm to use the lock box with the code provided which is what we did, unfortunately they had put the wrong key in the box hence the confusion, but instead of apologising the woman was rude and made the start of our stay spur which was a shame as the the younger Receptionist had been very helpful.

The bathroom was dirty. They did not believe me and I had to send a photo. They came and cleaned but not apologized.

We were on first floor. One oddity is that in our living room/kitchen area, you could hear very faint bass 24/7 coming from techno music somewhere. Literally all day, all night. We never figured out where it was coming from, the streets were silent outside at night, and it was not heard in bedroom, but it was disturbing for sleeping on the living room sofa bed. Thank goodness for ear plugs!

This was the second I stayed at Quartier M. The first was excellent. The room had big windows on the street and the conditions of the apartment were fantastic. This time however, we got an apartment facing the interior of a patio. There was no natural light inside the apartment at all. My mother and 1 year old son had a horrible time being there while I was working. It would have been ok for me of I had to go there to sleep but it was not appropriate for my family to spend time in such a dark space. We would never go back there. I asked if they had another apartment and they offered one in the attic. We couldn't move there because there was a set of stairs to get there without a lift and my mother was not able to carry the baby buggy upstairs. It is such a shame, since we had been extremely happy in our first time there.

Even though we were on the top floor, the noise from outside was annoying, which was really unfortunate because, other than that, the hotel is really quite charming. There was a delivery truck making all kinds of racket at 2:00 in the morning one night and every night, there were probably drunk people down at the restaurants/bars below with people talking loudly and often yelling well into the night. Renovation construction started very early in the morning which could be heard from within the apartment even with the windows closed.

The location was great. The hotel is well within walking distance of so many things in the old part of town. We never used it because we walked everywhere but there appeared to be public transportation everywhere so it's probably very accessible. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed.

Great with family, with the separate bedroom and kitchen. super central location. organic bakery and shop in the building was handy in the mornings for breakfast.
