We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GermanyI was in Room 43 which was very small even for a single and felt a bit stuffy even though the window was fully open. There is no AC, so could have done with a fan but I'm not sure where you could put one. The bed was very comfortable but it felt a bit squashed being surrounded by 3 walls.
Loved the location, friendly staff, comfy bed and great breakfast. Very nice bathroom with shower. The breakfast room was lovely and light and airy. Large tables shared by different rooms with your own name place marker, nice touch, made it feel personal. Very short walk from the train station, bus stop short walk away. You can easily walk to the InselStadt and all round Bamberg from the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

AustraliaThe beds were more like dorm camp beds in there set up so weren’t the comfiest and there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room or a fridge. The shower wasn’t closed in/ it had a curtain but that doesn’t keep the water in.
The hotel had a rustic charm and could see it would work well with groups and cyclists alike. The location and its walking distance to old town was great and paid parking onsite and close by made it easy to set up parking. Breakfast was great and the hosts were friendly.

AustraliaNote that there is no air-con so high summer may be uncomfortable. Diners may use the courtyard and converse, but this ends at 22:00 so should not impact sleep.
This is a small family-style hotel without pretensions so do not expect top quality, but it has the great advantage of being well located just a few minutes walk from the train station and two minutes from a Norma supermarket. The staff are very friendly and willing to help, but not on duty 24 hours a day. The single room was compact but sufficient with a good shower. The street was quiet and the room facing the inner courtyard ever quieter at night.
