The fact they bill you at the end of the stay and have added all the extra charges such as breakfast etc At the time of check in the receptionist agreed to sort out the parking for us free of charge, 2 days later on checkout we were given the full bill with all the charges.

The bathroom design.

Room was spacious with plenty of cupboard space, a little short on hooks to hang things. Clean. Breakfast was what you excpect in a german hotel, with a good selection to choose from. As with most chain hetels the bathroom is more a design excersise. The hand basin is set to far back on the work surface and the work surface is to deep, which makes the mirror to far away for use by the ladies. Also the shower though very good does leak water onto the rest of the bathroom floor are if one is vigorous whe showering. some more hanging space for the towels to dry would be benificial. Overall the hotel is very good. the above notes do not detract from the stay at the hotel. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and the bathroom notes are a common design error.

It was a very comfortable room, which was clean and had a nice bathroom. The location is a bit outside of the centre, so you will have to walk a bit to get there.

It's quite close to the center of Cologne, yet the price is very reasonable. The room is clean, tidy and spacious. Staffs are kind and helpful.

Not enough good for 4*: one bottle of sparkling water for two people in the room (you have to go downstairs to buy extra on reception, there isn’t mini bar in the room), the bottle with soap was broken, no bathrooms kits, no slippers. The cleaning lady started to knock at our door at 10:00 am, during my conference call

The parking lot and the location is perfect. Unfortunately, we had a very loud neighbour, but hotel staff had a lot empathy and resolved the situation quickly. We really appreciated the support.

everything about this experience was great, except fact that I was bombarded with multiple emails and messages before arriving, and after arriving, mentioning things, asking for reviews, and generally annoying. This is very unprofessional something they should cut out as a message should have some value for a client and that just be something that you force have to read because you’re afraid maybe there’s a problem with the reservation. I’ve made many reservations over the last 30 years and this was annoying to say the least.

the price of the breakfast. For me 50+ euros for 2 people was unreal. Also you lacked communication in terms of expenses. We planned for 320 for 2 nights we paid more than 400. Linked to city ta and 1 breakfast for two.

There was a door in the corridor and each time people slammed it in the evening our whole bed and the wall next to it were vibrating. It was super strange.

The personnel could be more friendly, specially with non-german speaking guests. The intercom was not working and they failed to understand that it had to be repaired, and instead thought that we didn't know how to use it (it's basically the same system wordwide!). Staff from the restaurant seemed very stressed, but the room service went very good for us.

The hotel is nice and clean, away from center but easily reachable by tram, room size was ok, beds comfortable, decoration also nice, bathroom ample and very clean. It has a very good relation value for money.

The ac was quite confusing We had 2 singles beds and when we seperated the beds, the bed was quite noisy while moving Luggage space was not available

While I was having dinner, I received a notification from my credit card that there was a withdrawal made by Ameron, but it was rejected by my credit card. Because I felt something wasn't right, I rushed back to the hotel and confirmed with the staff at the reception whether this was a correct withdrawal. It turns out that the hotel staff entered the wrong price at the beginning and tried to withdraw a new price from my credit card without permission
