To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaThe room smells a bit funny; thus, consider putting some air refresheners in them. The breakfast needs to be improved. You can have better quality bakery items along with some sweet bakery options. And finally, the elderly lady with glasses at the front desk is rude and does not know what true customer service means. When I asked her help to find an item I was looking for, her response was as follows: “I am sorry but cannot make any phone calls for you to figure out in which stores you may find this item since I need to take care of many check-outs today.” She needs some serious training on how to communicate with the guests; if not, she should not be working at the front desk. (If her attitude were not rude and unfriendly, my overall rating would be an 8.)
I really liked the location as well as the cleanliness of my room in addition to the well-maintained property. Especially, the breakfast staff and the always smiling lady (Manuela, if I am not mistaken with her name) at the reception were great!!

Once inside the hotel it is very nice. Good breakfast. Room was comfortable and faced a courtyard which was lucky.

AustraliaThe location is very convenient to the central train station, but the area is a bit rough. I was woken by drunken louts leaving the strip club across the road at 4am. The rooms look a bit dated and tired, but I was comfortable. No air conditioning in the room, but there was a fan.
Early check in after a 24 hour flight to Munich was great, they were very flexible when I arrived to leave my luggage and explore the city. The staff were truly excellent all round, and speak English. Breakfast buffet was good.

FinlandBehind my room window there was a balcony of another room, but luckyly nobody used the balcony during my visit.
Room on the yeard side (as most of the rooms are) was quiet. Room was quite large and very clean, even if a bit old fashioned. Breakfast was good. Situated near Hauptbahnhof and U-Bahn station. Neighborhood is a bit restless, but it didn't matter as you were in front of the station in a few minutes.

Great location- very easy to walk to from the old town and very close to the main train station, so convenient and easy to find. Also a lot of other hotels on the street so didn't feel out of place or unsafe. Room was a good size, comfortable, quiet and very clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, spoke English when my German started to fail me! The breakfast was delicious- the lovely lady came over straightaway when I came in and asked if I wanted tea or coffee- service was very quick. I very much enjoyed my stay here!
