Lacking some key basics for a hotel in 2023: allowing payment by card, having sockets near the bed and being able to make the room dark. They only take cash, which is absurd. This information is available on booking.com if you really look carefully, but far from obvious. Thin blinds on the windows and no shutters meant it wasn't dark. No sockets anywhere near the bed. Weird thin lumpy pillows.

The location of this Inn is excellent for bus and train only 2 min walk away. Lovely quiet little town. Supermarket just round the corner and lovely food from across the road at Anatolia. It’s not to everyone’s taste but I loved this old house(stairs could be a problem for anyone that struggles with climbing as quiet steep. I would definitely come back here.

I did not have breakfast there since I had to catch an early train from the Weeze Station. The room was ok, very big, plenty of space. I did not have a big suitcase, so it was easy for me to do all the stairs to reach my room. You can reach the hotel in 10 minutes by taxi from the airport Düsseldorf Weeze. It is located very closed to the train station in Weeze, it takes 3 minutes to reach it, which is very convenient!

Great location. Close to train station and not far from airport. Staff very helpful allowing us to check in very late after flight delay. Room daated but spotless clean. Ideal base for a few nights stay. Would stay again if back for a similar trip.

I needed a place to sleep for the night following a late arrival from Edinburgh. I was greeted at reception by the owner who's English was very good and was super helpful and accommodating. It was only a brief stay but I'd highly recommend the Alt Weeze to anyone and am grateful for the hospitality shown. A+++++

Remember Alt Weeze from years ago sadly it is a bit tired now. Large room but in attic so lots of very steep stairs. TV screen broken, didn't work properly. Cash only, up front.

Super tall staircases - not for the faint of heart! All restaurants closed when the fair is on. They should tell you this. No A/C. Fortunately was a cool night. Definitely a mom and pop hotel. Don't expect the Ritz!
