There were a few, I believe to be mosquitoes in the rooms, and a spider in the area where old stove was. I wish there had been a coffee machine & coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, cups, etc, and a mini fridge. There was only a water heating carafe.

The location was beautiful and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I was traveling with my brother and we wanted 2 separate beds, in separate rooms, which was difficult to find last minute. We were in room 100., and it was perfect. There was a mix of old & modern.

The property location is a bit remote but worth to stay given its fantastic scenery around the property.

We stay in an apartment with 4 people and a dog. There was a bedroom and a big living room with 2 single beds. It was spacious. Breakfast was good with many varieties. The view from our balcony was gorgeous.

Not much soundproof. The other room's door opening and closing was very loud and was also moving our door a little bit. Also bring your own shampoo, the ones from them are maybe enough for one person.

They have a small playground for children. There was enough parking space. Breakfast is ok, not very extensive, but you have enough choices and I really like the cheesecake.

Wi-Fi is not working well in the first day. No good mobile network signal in that area... (but you shouldn't do too much internet there anyway :))

A great location - proximity to hiking trails, peace and quiet, the mountain views from the balcony, tasty and rich breakfasts, and a very cosy and lovely apartment with a soul! It is a very nice place with an atmosphere.

Our bed was a bit too hard for our liking.

Breakfasts were very nice with a good selection of items to choose from. The brotchen was especially fresh and delicious. The view from the hotel was just beautiful. We had mountain and valley views. The rooms were clean. The restaurant in the hotel had good local food. It was nice to eat there after a day of hiking and sightseeing.

The bed was firmer than I like. The furnishings are a bit dated. This was not a big problem for me.

We booked a double room but ended up being placed in a two bedroom suite. We had plenty of room to spread out! The staff was courteous. The breakfast buffet was extensive with farm-fresh eggs, cold cuts, wonderful bread rolls (fresh from the bakery), cheese, yogurt...and of course, hot beverages and juice. The views were incredible from the dining room and our suite. Everything is sparkling clean.

We requested dinner reservations for our group of 7, and received confirmation. However at checkin we were informed that restaurant was closed. With some questioning I was able to get staff to find open restaurant for us, and w further questioning make a reservation, and more questioning a taxi . Should have been more proactive! But in the end problem resolved!

The queen sized bed was cozy but the blankets were individual sized for a single bed. It got chilly and I was not covered enough.

The view from our balcony was beautiful. We had a car and it was a close drive to the sites and hiking trails.

Food was average. Breakfast was from 7-10.We went down to have breakfast at 9. Things like boiled egg & cake were finished . The lady just said sorry. Also, guests before were given welcome drinks at check-in. We were not given

Everything was great, However, the room was smaller than we expected and the odour from washroom wasn't great.

Alpenhotel is located at a perfect location, right at the main road. Very easy to come by car or taxi. We also noticed a bus stop right at the hotel. the breakfast was superb and the view from restaurant was also mesmerising. Not to forget about the staff, super friendly and super helpful. we were stuck in traffic and there was already a packet with keys and all the instructions. we were also given guest card to get a discount at certain locations.

Location - we had a room with mountains view The furniture etc is little bit older but still functional, everything was clean Restaurant downstairs with reasonable prices, overall it is a very good value for money Area with fence for dogs Easilly accessible, parking in the front

Breakfast room had a wide selection of German fair. Great views out the large windows of the countryside. The bathrooms were newly remodeled. The room was good and clean, and the balcony view of the hillside out back was nice. We came by car, but I saw regular bus transport go by even though its was off the beaten path. Location right next to the "Zauberwald" forest path to lake Hintersee. Easy hike to mountain brook and lake with towering hills.
