Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

RomaniaWhen we entered there was a smell in the room, coming from the bathroom. Also, the cleaning of the room could be better: there were marks on the carpet and also on the drapes. The breakfast was disappointing, considering the price we paid for 2 people, 42 euros.
The location, it was very easy to access every point from the city, it was close to train station and metro/tram. The bed was very comfortable.

Puerto RicoThe mini-fridge in my room wasn't working properly. In addition, the hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the city center, making it incredibly convenient for exploring major attractions and enjoying local dining and shopping. This proximity to the heart of the city was definitely a major plus. However, the immediate surroundings of the hotel left much to be desired. The area can best be described as "sketchy," with a vibe that felt somewhat unsafe, especially during the evening hours. This detracted significantly from the overall experience.
I was thoroughly impressed with the comfort and cleanliness provided. The room was exceptionally tidy and well-maintained, which made for a very pleasant stay. One of the standout features was the working area in the room, which had plenty of space and good lighting, making it perfect for catching up on emails or getting some work done away from the office. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was inviting and warm, which helped in making my stay both relaxing and productive. I appreciated the attention to detail in the services and amenities provided. This hotel definitely stands out as a great choice for both business and leisure travelers looking for a hassle-free and comfortable experience.

AustraliaRoom service. We should have known better. You ordered on the phone from the room and then you have to go to reception to collect. They just present the food to you on plates to take up in the lift. No tray, no covers, no anything. Really difficult to manage 2 plates of food when you have to swipe your room card in the lift. Hmmm….Germans precision my butt.
