Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GermanyI stayed in mix-dorm room, so the cleanliness is depend on with whom you're staying 😅. But thankfully i had a good sleep. The Staff at the Reception at the night i was arrived was not so friendly (he had no interest to help). I (with 3 other guests) was looking for the kitchen, because the signs was not so easy to understand. I followed the sign, and tried 3 times to find the kitchen but with no success (i guess they had 2 guest kitchens, and one of them was renovated or so). The Reception ping ponged us and luckily the bartender was so helpful and showed us the way. The electric stove, microwave and refridge was there, but cutleries and crockeries was not in sight. Luckily i have my own cutlery and using the packaging. I've managed to survive 🤣
The price is affordable with decent facilities. Got everything i need (hairdryer, towel, fresh bedsheets, microwave in the kitchen). Friendly and helpful team at the bar and the housekeeping.

The bed in the middle of the room is also weird, because you dont have any separation between the other bed so you literally sleep with another person as you were married

SlovakiaThe hostel is located 10 minutes walking from the subway. It takes 20 minutes to get to the city centre with an S Bahn. Very close to the main bus station and also a direct connection to the main train station. The room was nice and comfortable although small lights by the bed or USB ports for charging phones didn’t work. Everything else was nice and clean. People at the reception were always amazing and very helpful. Especially Kinsley and Muhammad. Both were very friendly and helped me with everything I needed.

Indiasome beds were done and some left for us to do. I didnt understand why the work was left incomplete. The handwash would have been better instead instead of showergel in the WC/Toilet.
I like dthe location and as a large group its important to have bathroom facilities only limited to the group. The staff was helpful.

GermanySheets had to be picked up separately. The windows had to be open to let air in as it was hot inside the room. The room was unfortunately on the road side. The noise from the traffic on the road kept me from sleeping. Couldn't sleep until the windows were closed.
The location is good for a trip in Munich. The room was spacious and the bathrooms were inside the room and also clean.

SpainThe kitchen for guests was horrible. The stay was great but I would suggest improving it a lot. It's okay to store things, but it's useless if you want to cook something, there are no dishes, no saucepans, no cutlery. Everything was great except the kitchen.

The staff was helpful and patient. The breakfast was good. Clean room and comfy beds. The windows open all the way up. You can still decide to get the breakfast in the morning.

United KingdomNo extractor in toilet and shower. No proper power socket at bed. Provided usb socket didn't work. Twin beds, which are not to my liking for such accommodation. No numbers at beds, I was given number 2 but couldn't find the bed! Location okay, but away from HB. Buses strike last week made it more difficult to move around. You have to pay 3.85 euros for bedsheets!!! Never paid such thing before and I have stayed in many Hostels in Munich.
Very friendly and helpful staff, good internet, and spacious room. Quiet room, and nice place for small thing on your bed.
