“This is such a lovely place to stay. You will receive the warmest of welcomes from the owner. We had a lovely time chatting with her and admiring her husband’s fabulous metal art works. The room is beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable and beautiful views over the countryside. Very quiet. It is a short 15 min along a pretty pathway into the town where you will find several options for dinner. Breakfast at the gasthaus was enormous and delicious. We only stayed 1 night on our way home to the UK but would love to visit again and would definitely stay here. Vielen Dank.”
“Communication with the hosts was exceptional - they were there to answer any questions and helped with recommendations for the surrounding area. Rooms were clean and spacious, and kitchen was well-equip. There was a paid on-site sauna and free pool access that is shared with the apartment block - if you want to use the sauna, make sure you have coins available and you have to book a time which is just done on paper in a book outside the sauna room; we didn't have any trouble booking times we wanted).”

Even though the living area was relatively large, it is extremely dark and gloomy..
We had booked for 2 adults, one child and were charged extra €12 per night! Plus taxes though the invoice said "All taxes included." After that she changed the conditions in her policies!!!!”
“The hotel locates in a very queit area with a very beautiful view to the nature nearby. It's a small boutique hotel with some old but stylish decorations and funitures, very beautiful itself as well, suitable to take some nice pictures inside as well. Breakfast is good although with few options in the buffet. The coffee is really good!!!”
“We spent a lovely couple of nights at the hotel. It’s very convenient for all the local villages and restaurants and the Triberg waterfall is just a couple of minutes away by car. We had a room with a balcony over the stream so sitting down, listening to the water was just what we needed to relax. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays so we missed the opportunity to dine in but breakfast had a good range of sweet and savoury. The owners are extremely friendly and always available in case you need anything. I personally also loved the comfortable bed and cozy duvet!!”
“The host is super friendly. They respect your privacy and are easy going. The location has a nice view, next to a forest and within 1 hour walking distance of big waterfalls. Free parking around the corner. Rooms are spacious.”
